I cannot speak to longevity since I only received them today, but after a day's use, I can say they are surprisingly comfortable, good quality and the color is nice. I thought the elasticized bands would be uncomfortable on my thighs, but they weren't, and the stockings stayed up without any problems. Hopefully these will last since they are a bit expensive. For now, I am pleased.

They look so nice, and have good compression. Unlike many compression stockings these are sheer, but work great. They are made in America. These are really nice for wearing a skirt or dress, they look like good quality pantyhose. They have lace trim at the top. I plan on ordering both the beige and black again.

I had knee replacement surgery and ordered these to try and deal with persistent swelling and the pain it caused. I followed the directions and measured my legs. I was concerned that my 5'1" height would make it difficult to find a pair that fit well but I got lucky on my first try. The pressure is just right. They relieved a lot of the pain due to pressure and let me comfortably spend a lot of time on my feet. I now have three pairs bought about 1 1/2 months apart. I kept expecting them to wear out but they haven't yet. The second pair I bought developed a small run from the reinforced heel to the thigh but I applied clear nail polish, which stopped the run. I have been wearing the first pair for six months now without loss of support or any real deterioration. I wash them by hand after one use.I need to be clear that I wear these under pants and when my ankles need to show I put knee-high stockings over them to disguise them.There were some negatives but they didn't stop me from continuing to order. The most notable one was that they are different colors. If memory serves me they are supposed to be beige. The first pair was very light and faded after washings. It's now an unattractive biscuit color. The second pair was a better color to begin with but had also faded some. The third had a distinctive rose color : O color that has also faded a little.The band that holds the stockings up gave my thigh a line of small blisters in the beginning and sometimes still does.Because these stockings worked well for me and have lasted all this time I will recommend them. As long as you don't expect them to look like a standard hose and don't allow the band to pull too tightly on your skin.

I was allergic to the elastic top of the thigh highs. I wore them for a total of 5 or so hours (from leaving the house to the 2-3 hour plane ride and then to the hotel). I did not feel any itching or any problems while wearing them. The next day I have a swollen strip on both thighs where the elastic was. It took me 5 days to get the swelling down and the deep red like-burn for over a week. The label on the box says "lace silicone stay-up top" - I am not allergic to silicone but this one did- I think it is mixed up with something that I'm sensitive to. Otherwise, I love everything else about the product - I love the sheer design, the compression 15-20 mmHg is just perfect, the flexible snug fit and the stockings remained in place throughout the hours I was wearing them. I would buy them again if I'm not allergic to the elastic.

I love these compression hose.I first bought a Jobst brand pair ($90) of compression hose at a local pharmacy. They fit right but as someone who walks during the middle of my day the hose would begin to sag and roll. The hosiery would eventually stop at my knee and would cut the circulation, totally defeating the purpose of compression hose. I ended up buying a garter but found out that if there is silicon on the edge of the hosiery the garter is useless. I started to look for hosiery that didn't have the silicon on it. Not having ever used a garter I wanted to be sure I used it correctly. I realized pretty quickly a garter is not for me. I found it very frustrating to put on.I bought a pair of Sheer Ease and this pair of Truform both under $25. The compression for the Jobst was 20-30. The Sheer Ease and Truform are both 15-20. The Sheer Ease also rolled down. When I first tried on the Truform I was sure I was not going to be able to use them. The Truform does not feel anything like the Jobst or Sheer Ease. The material feels a little like polyester. I initially felt like they were cheaply made. I was wrong. After washing them once, by hand I felt a change in the texture of the material. I now only wear the Truform. I have large calves and legs and these Truform compression hose don't roll down. They may sag just a little at the ankle but stay put at my thigh. I walk a mile during lunch and these stay put. No other products needed. The Truform have two silicon bands which obviously work.The Jobst have silicon beads that aren't very effective.I own several pair of VIM & VIGR ($32) compression socks. I must buy large. Unfortunately, because they're long I constantly had to adjust them. They would cut circulation at the ankleI plan on buying more.
