Size:Small Product Description The HUSH Hat is a noise softening Hat for babies. It is perfect for use during nap time, to keep babies sleeping soundly through household sounds that constantly startle them awake. It is also great to be used outside the hone to keep your baby comfortable & protect their hearing in noisy everyday settings such as restaurants, air travel, sporting events, worship services & family gatherings. The HUSH Hat is NOT sound proof, rather it filters out sounds to avoid overstimulation and make environments comfortable and safe. The HUSH Hat fits slightly different than a regular hat. It is longer in order to completely cover the infants ears, so it may require a little adjustment on your end. When placing on the hat on your babies head, first knead the foam for 5-10 seconds to warm it up. The foam has optimal sound absorption when it is warm and in contact with the skin. The warmth allows the foam to conform more closely to the baby's ears. Babies' ear placement ranges greatly so the foam is also adjustable, allowing you to position it in the best manner. If you feel the HUSH Hat is too low over the babies forehead you can reposition it by giving the back of the hat a little tug. Sound Absorbing Hat How did you come up with the idea for this product? HUSH Baby, LLC was founded 6 years ago by Jaycee Bybee. When she had her 2nd child, Teagan, she quickly realized that Teagan was overly sensitive to sound (doorbells, door slams, dogs barking, older brother, etc). As such, sleep was elusive. Jaycee searched the internet for a solution and found nothing. So, she decided to create a solution. 5 1/2 years later, after understanding and complying with all baby/consumer regulations, applying for a patent, testing the medical grade foam with Owens Corning Labs, The HUSH Hat was finalized. The hat officially was for sale on our website last October. What makes your product special? The HUSH Hat is the only sound absorbing baby hat that can be used during both sleep time and awake time. Not quite what expected but possibly sizing issue
Not quite sure this is doing the job, I never felt like the ear cups were going tightly against her ears. I always had it on her while baby wearing so it was easy to hold her head against my chest and feel like this was helping but just sitting there with no pressing it wasn't really right against her ears. When I pulled the hat down tighter it covered her eyes and she got mad, so to leave her eyes uncovered meant having the hat at a different angle so the ears weren't tightly covered. Maybe as she gets bigger it'll fit better.

Horrible fit, foam does not cover ears and sizes are not true
This may be because my daughter hates things in her face, but this does not fit my child well and the edge covers her eyes. She likes to be able to watch lights as she falls asleep and this inhibits her vision nearly completely. I wish the foam pieces were larger, as they do not cover her ears properly. Even when I knew the proper measurements for my daughters head the corresponding size did not fit at all. We couldn't even fit it onto her head. We tried the next size and it still did not fit properly. We were trying to use this as a solution for church, which has a very loud worship service, but because this didn't work, I am stuck missing the worship service.

Worked great!
I was a little skeptical at first but needed something for my daughter on Fourth of July. They worked great! My daughter hates hats and it was hot. But, even with those two factors the hat worked like a charm. She did pull it off once but the sound was too much for her and she let me put it right back on. She was able to enjoy the fireworks!

Sizing runs small
Super cute and delivered on time but size is way off. My baby is barely 8lbs and the small isn't big enough. She also for not have an abnormal or large head. Sizing clearly runs small. Needless to say it didn't fit when I went to pit it on her.

Wow soo fashionable!
Helpfull. We wore it on our little girl when we when on the plane and she slept the whole time. I would suggest getting a size +1 up than the suggested size. It was a little too small for but the product did its job.

Love the idea of this
Love the idea of this! BUT did not fit right. It was too short so it wouldn't full cover my baby's ears. I ordered the appropriate size and any bigger would not have fit her head snug enough to hold it tight. I think it would work a lot better if it had some type of cute chin straps or longer on the ears.
