This is a fantastic book, bought to send to a friend. Must be shared, some very important analysis from a great writer (one of my absolute favourite authors) who is always a huge education to read. Used this book with my students too, highly recommend.

Needed this text for AA studies course. Great read but some chapters seemed redundant.

This is good source for students of contemporary African history. It provides the modern context of post-colonialism and for Kenya in particular.
