The Car

I streamed this album quite a few times before I bought the record.When I played the record I was amazed by the quality of the recording as much as the songs themselves. One (tiny) thing I noticed is that I can actually hear the drum stick hitting the ride cymbal, not just the cymbal itself. I can’t recall ever hearing that much clarity on any record at the moment. There is so much detail just under the surface.The songs are great too, certainly different from everything else they’ve done, but I’d argue they are the best written songs I’ve ever heard from The Artic Monkeys.It also helps to hear it on an awesome stereo as opposed to little Sonos speakers streamed through an iPhone.

I love the album don't get me wrong, but the record casing was really beat up and a crumbled. And in comparison to there past vinyl's the packaging for this one felt a bit cheap. The music was great though, I really like Hello you and American Sports. I appreciate how the monkeys switch it up every album so we don't get sick of the same shit. Makes it easier to keep the bands fans more interested, I really like where they're headed and can't wait for the next album!

Another solid album from one of the greatest modern bands. This record might not be their best, but it definitely does not disappoint. It grows on you fast and has one of their finest tunes (body paint is a masterpiece). It's so hilarious to read all the 1 star reviews of this album. Guys it's ok to have a limited musical taste and be stuck in the past, I mean, whatever works for you, but you don't have to brag about it everywhere, LOL.

Love the vibe

Deuxième album des ArcticMonkeys écrit au piano. Le style du groupe évolue vers quelque chose de beaucoup plus doux. Le rythme incroyable des premiers albums, à la guitare et à la batterie, laisse place à des morceaux plus mélodiques. Alex Turner laisse beaucoup plus de place à sa voie, il se positionne un peu en "last crooner" et propose des morceaux davantage chantés. De ce que j'ai pu lire sur le net, certains considèrent que c'est un virage trop marqué vis à vis du style des débuts du groupe, d'autres que le groupe atteint une maturité magnifique. Faites vous votre avis. Moi j'adore ( et en concert : c'est superbe )

Un disco muy interesante, formato en digipack simulando al de un vinilo. Envío rápido.Tuve que devolverlo y volverlo a pedir porque el mensajero lo metió a la fuerza en el buzón rompiendo la caja del cd.

un album qui divisera tous les fans.... mais ne restez pas sur votre avis à la première écoute. c est un album qui se déguste lentement. Alex nous émerveille encore et encore avec sa voix et sa musique . les concerts de Paris étaient à la hauteur de cet album et des précédents. merci Alex 😍
