Such a pretty glaze
I recently tried the SW-155 Winter Wood glaze on my pottery, and I absolutely loved the results! I used it on top of a matte base glaze, and the way it interacted was just gorgeous. The brown crystals in the Winter Wood glaze melted beautifully, creating a rich, natural texture that really brought the piece to life. I was especially pleased that it didn't run at all, which is always a concern when working with glazes that have more movement.Overall, this glaze gives off a beautiful, earthy feel and is now one of my go-to glazes for creating unique, multi-dimensional pottery.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a glaze that’s easy to work with and delivers stunning, natural-looking results!

Rustic vibes
I absolutely love this glaze. Easy to apply with brush and still get the desired results.

My favorite glaze
Consistent, beautiful result and easy to apply. Two or three coats work best - stir well because the dark speckles settle in the jar. My favorite glaze for any piece I want a natural or rustic feel to. Fire at cone 5 or 6.

Pretty and Fun
I’m really enjoying Winter Wood! It looks great on porcelain and goes on like silk. Fires up beautifully at cone 6. (Shown here in pic along with Sea Salt) Definitely staying in rotation!

Excellent high fire glaze
I use glazes for food safe stoneware-and from experience I try to only buy from Blick as they have been fantastic in the past. This glaze was fired to cone 6. Mayco glazes consistently perform well and this one is a reliable high fire glaze.

It goes well with many Mayco Glazes
Winter wood is a glaze go to! I would be cautious to use it with other glazes with crystals as it can run.
