BUYER BEWARE!!! This is absolutely horrendous quality and workmanship! The worst crap that China has to offer. It worked for a couple weeks and, soon after the return period has closed, the heater malfunctioned and does not work at all. The LED lights are on but the heating element does not continue to work. I think it's ridiculous that they can get away with selling this crap to us that they obviously know is an inferior product, I'm convinced these units were rejects that didn't make the cut and they sell them to us because they know that they'll probably last just long enough that we're stuck with them! DO NOT BUY THIS CHINSY CHEAP POS!

Got this heater and on set up I got a e1 error. It was fully under water and exactly as the company asked to set it up. I sent it back and got a new one. The new one worked for a month then did the same thing. I gave it 2 stars because the company was willing to exchange it the first time. I don't know why you would add the feature of malfunction codes if there is nothing you can do about them. I will check the warranty and see if they will replace this one.EditThey replaced my heater for free and the new one works great. Changed my star rating to 4.

The media could not be loaded.  Love this heaters, bought 2 on the last 7 years. But...... then this keeps happening, just woke up. And it’s all of sudden at a cold 72’. And the heater says it’s working. But obviously from the video and photos it won’t heat back up, broken? Idk. Been like this for a week. When it works. It works great, about a year, or 2 later. And it’s just broken ??

Not very accurate readings. Off by 4°F. I had to raise the temp to keep the aquarium temperature at 78°F. The blue LED light is pretty bright. At night my cichlids may not be able to sleep. May end up returning it.

This is the second one of these I've owned. This went out after 2 months

This is the second heater we bought and we have had it since February and now it no longer heats our turtles tank. We are at a loss as to what to do next. Please help. Thank you.

If i could give a negative review i would!!! Bought the heater and went out within a week. Amazon replaced it and my replacement didn’t even last a week. Heater errors out and over heats. Water was almost 100 when i got home.

Very poor quality. Started giving problems after a few months. Now stopped working completely. Give E7 error. No documentation available to troubleshoot. Do not recommend this product.
