The YUCHENGTECH Taper Gauge works perfectly for your needs. Should we decide to purchase another taper gauge we will go back to Yuchengtech.

Came in a minimal but sturdy plastic tube. Measurements read true with my calipers to two decimal points.

This taper gage worked as one would expect. Very easy to read, very quick to insert and remove. The only thing I noticed was after inserting over a couple thousand times in a somewhat abrasive environment, the numbers were becoming slightly harder to read; but that could be expected given the nature of the area being inspected.

This is very handy for measuring string clearances on a guitar.

Used to align flanges and gaps for welding before bolting on to pump

This is a great instrument for measuring larger gaps without having to stack feeler gauge shims.

Very good for our purpose of checking flatness of steel plates
