Good product, but no pockets.

- All cotton; a must have. I detest polyester.- Waistband has superior elastic when compared to their competitors.- NO pockets. No need.I have 4 pairs of these and just ordered 3 more. I wear these shorts all day and all night. They wear well, get softer with age, waistband retains elasticity. They are worth the extra $5 IMO.Admittedly the 6in inseam might be a tad short to leave the house in, so in a perfect world I'd like to see these in an 8in inseam.

I never noticed these did not have any pockets. I usually take a front pocket wallet with my drivers license when I go to the gymnasium. Other than that they are fine.

These shorts are just okay. The elastic band is rough and scratches up my skin when worn against the skin. If I tuck in my shirt, then there is no issue. The shorts are lightweight and good for summer months, but again that elastic band is just too harsh. If they would put some of the soft shorts fabric over the elastic, these would be much more comfortable. Anyways, they are lightweight and move with your body, the fabric is good quality and so is the stitching. They've been washed more than 30 times by now and still have their color and shape. They fit true to size.

I specifically searched for 100% cotton shorts because comfort is what I am looking for in shorts I plan to use as lounge wear and this was one of the algorithms top suggestions. These things are garbage. They are poorly made of the thinnest cotton the manufacturer could use. And the absolute killer is the manufacturer is so focused on minimizing costs they leave the elastic exposed and just saw it onto the interior side. I cannot emphasize enough how unpleasant it is to have this material rubbing on your waist. I suggest you pass and avoid this gargabe.

Gift for son, he seems to like them...had me buy a second pair.
