These are decent café door hinges, but they're not great café style hinges.The price is better than average for made in the USA hinges, but there are some issues here also.First, one hinge was completely missing the tension stops. As in NONE in the holes or laying loose in the box. Easily solved since I had a set from an old set of hinges from a few years ago which fit.Second, If y'all have not installed café hinges before, do be aware that instructions on how to install these are mostly not here.There is a diagram on the boxes, but that isn't very helpful if you don't know how to use the hinges.Also note that the thickness of the hinge set between the wall trim piece and the door will be 7/16".Also, using different screws is a good idea, the screws included won't stick to a magnetic screw bit.Last, if you haven't installed these, this set of hinges will require a piece of trim on the wall to space the hinge barrel away from the surface of the wall/trim.Your best option if this is your first set of café hinges is to find a video online and get some graphics on the process.I've been in construction for 48 years, but the last set of café hinges I installed was close to 40 years ago. I had a clue on how to do it, but didn't want to build a door and then find out I had to trim it, shim it, or rebuild it.I took five minutes to get reacquainted with the hinges before I built the door.Seems like a good idea for most of us who don't do these on a regular basis.I hope this review was helpful.p.s., the partial set of US built café hinges I found locally did have a full set of instructions, and would have been a better choice, if it had been a full set of hinges.

The media could not be loaded.  These arrived in great shape and are sturdier than I expected for the price. Nice finish. If the doors sag after installation and before re-torquing the springs, don’t worry. Once you torque them, any sag should be eliminated and the doors brought back to parallel. Just make sure not to lose the tiny adjustment pins.

Does everything it was designed for but there are no installation instructions provide explaining the need for a backer strip to mount the hinges to. Not for beginners to install.Suggest they provide "detailed installation instructions".

these are perfect for play doors or even a partial door to block off the laundry room with the pets in it when visitors come over. simple to install and sturdy enough to handle solid wood construction.

Strong, easy to install. They have a solid feel to them.

Could hafe had a bit better instructions on instsllation.
