Very accurate, easy to read and results almost immediately.

Works great, and is quick to display results.Purchased this for my Mom, because she was using one she got off another site, and I didn't think it was accurate.This one reads quickly, and I like that it beeps while it's taking the reading, so you know that it's still working.The only thing that I've noticed is, if your fingers are cold, it will not work.You will need to warm your hands under warm water, or stick your hands in your pockets, until your finger is warm enough for it to display a reading.Another bonus, is there screen is bright, and easy to see in bright lighting.

It's a pulse oximeter and it works, appears to be accurate. However, if you want to read it on your left hand, there is no way to reverse the screen! I've had several over the years and never encountered this before. I'm left handed and always use it on my left hand so it's a little inconvenient but not enough for me to package it up and return it. Just be aware of this if you are used to using your left hand to monitor.

Vibeat Fingertip Pulse Oximeter, Blood Oxygen Saturation Monitor (ver 3): Seems to work as expected of such a device. Ease of use is effected because all one needs to do is to poke one's finger in the opening. Removing finger effects turning off - need not to press button. Wise to use same finger each time. Middle finger on right hand is what I use, and then it is fairly easy to read the results. Other such instruments provide for rotating the display, which might be important for some people. The display at the bottom is refreshed about every 6 heart strokes and I find that display to be of no utility. This device, by pressing button, allows one to see the past 12 measurements and allows one to set alarm levels. Has a soft beep with each heart stroke - very soft. Needs to describe how PI is calculated and its significance. Wait at least 15 seconds for values to come to steady-state.-- added after major surgery: recovery is helped, and excess avoided, by using this device to monitor results of exertion during recovery. Having measurement prior to surgery provides a goal as recovery progresses. I was wrong about the utility of display - it provides verification of AFib events and other such events. Using middle finger of right hand, screen is very easy to read - batteries last a long time.

I absolutely love this device! This is my second one I have purchased. Since I have been having trouble with low oxygen I now have an able to keep one in my purse as well as by my chair at night! Wonderful product! Thank you, Judy Curtis
