I have these bulbs outside on my garage and my front porch. They go on at dusk and off at dawn, just as they are supposed to do. I don't have to think about turning off and on myself. This is very helpful when you are not home to do so. The lights are very bright, but all the lights of this type seem to be this way. Sylvania is a name you can trust. These lights work consistently and are lasting forever. Good buy.

I'm using this bulb couple months now I have no problem it's works good, my electricity bill is the same, I leave my light switch on so the bulb automatically comes on in the night, I use the white lite, it's super bright, it's in my back yard, so far I love it, it's a 10 I truly recommend

This is a bright light and works as intended. Brightens my front porch and has night time sensor.

After reading the reviews on this product, I wondered if I’d get a dud. But, nowadays, since most reviews seem to be a mix of good and bad, I decided to take a chance on a lower cost bulb, and I’m glad I did. I use it in my backyard and it illuminates a large swath of my yard. I’ve had it for many months and it comes on every night at dusk and turns on at daylight. This was a great purchase.

Great price, bright, durable, long lasting.

This bulb works fine on our front porch. The fixture has a horizontal ceiling mount and when screwed in the sensor is facing upward with very little clearance between the ceiling and censor. I was worried this would not allow enough light for the sensor to detect daytime. So far it stay off wven when overcast or raining and turns on after the sun sets.Now that I know this works well, I am ordering two more bulbs.

It’s very difficult to find Dawn dusk light bulbs for indoor! This bulb is for both and it works very well. No more trying to remember to turn on or off the lights. It’ll light up as soon as it becomes dark outside and then it’ll shut off when it becomes light outside. I have it right near the living room window

Work very well

I put one bare bulb mounted vertically directly under a metal awning over a south-facing door, and a second bare bulb open to the elements facing west. I was prepared for the one under the awning to not work, but it does!! Both work as advertised: on at dusk, off at dawn. It's a nice slightly cool colour, and quite bright light. Seems slightly dimmer than an old style 100W, but brighter than a 60W. After 3.5 weeks, so far our Manitoba winter (snow, -15C or so temps) hasn't harmed them. Just make sure the sensor is facing as outward as possible, and you're good to go!

Nice bright light, it lights up my entire front yard & driveway. The photo control works flawlessly. The bulb is completely weatherproof & should last for many, many years. I recommend this lamp, you won't be disappointed.
