Very good book for JEE (Advanced) aspirants
I have been teaching Physics for the JEE (Advanced) examination for the last 23 years.I have always recommended that my students use Physics (Volumes 1 & 2) by Resnick, Halliday & Krane, along with Concepts of Physics (Volumes 1 & 2) by H.C. Verma. RHK and HCV are excellent books both for concept-building as well as for problem-solving. Unfortunately, for the last few years, the book by RHK was unavailable in India. Now that the Indian adaptation is available, I have started recommending RHK once again to all of my JEE (Advanced) students.Although several Indian authors have contributed to the Indian adaptation, I find that the theoretical discussions in the book are almost the same as in the earlier version. Most of the problems are also essentially the same.I read a review which claimed that the original content has vanished. However (as someone who has been very familiar with the older version of the book), I did not find that much has changed.I highly recommend RHK (volumes 1 and 2) for serious students of Physics, especially those preparing for the JEE (Advanced).I heartily thank Wiley India and all of the Indian co-authors who collaborated to make this great book available in India again.

Answers not given in the book, not instructor's manual.
What's the use when answers to even or odd numbered qns have not been given, neither at the end of the chapter not at end of book ? If one solves d qns, how can one be assured of one's answers ? Are the ans given in vol 2 ? Preface tells ( see pic ) even numbered ans given in instructor's manual. Where is that ? Cocoblu has not sent it. Description given on Amazon is quite misleading . I do not know what to do for this , quite disgusting !

No hints or solutions for any of the MCQ, Questions, Exercises and Problems
There is no doubt that this is a great book for theory and sample problems. However, for self-learners the book doesn't provide any hints or solution to any of the questions (not even odd numbered questions). I am not sure how to get or buy the solutions of this book!Amazon packing was good.

Binding problem
Binding is not good. I suggest you people to buy international edition.

This is spoiled
Please boycott this book. Resnick Halliday is such a great book but some in India for some strange reason they have adopted it which vanishes the original content of book and this is really very unfortunate.
