so far so good.
Update: after months of use I took my maxtows out. They are just too dang bright and impossible to rear in direct sunlight. I kept the fuel pressure gauge (reviewed item) because it’s down low my my peddles. But the others got replaced with ISSPRO.Well first off, I drive a Dodge Cummins Diesel and use 4 gauges (EGT, Boost, Fuel pressure and Trams temp) Everyone on the forums says the glow shift brand is junk and they fail out quickly. These "Maxtows" seem to be built pretty nice to me. Yea their plastic, but thy don’t need to be heavy materials to work… Maybe they are better built than the Glowshift parent brand?- I like how easier they are to see, yea they are a bit bright, but not enough for me to do any modding like LED mods or tinting. The lowest night setting seems fine. But I only have 1 on the pillar right now, the other is down low by my 4wd shifter. When I get all 3 on the pillar Maxtow it might be an issue.-Testing, for the Fuel pressure gauge this MaxTow gauge is reading the same that my ISSPro did and the same as a my manual testing gauge I Hooke up at the same time right on my VP-44. 16lbs at idle, max of 19lbs during load. I have a mechanical Fuel pump (Fuleboss) In my Cummins, so the pressure goes up not down with load. A relief value/return keeps it form getting higher-The gauge is responsive, I can see the pressure change with my RPMs almost in real time.-The sender seemed to be good quality-The wires to hooks it up are nice and long, but very soft and thin so be careful not to tear them on install.-They do NOT dim with the cluster because their LED. There is a night mode and a day mode with 3 levels on each you set once. When hooked up right it goes into night mode when you turn on the head lights. I just made mine go in night mode all the time.

Very Much Needed and Helpful
This is not as simple to install as you would think, the sensor that you add to your fuel line at the bottom of the filter is almost to large to fit in this area. It almost needs a 90 degree fitting to keep it from hitting the truck frame. It concerns me about wearing out and damaging the wire as time goes by. It’s been maybe 6 months now and it’s still working fine

Great Gauge - But could use improvements to the design
Great Gauge, easy installation. A few Gripes I have are as follows:- The Power Wire harness uses too small gauge wires, they are difficult to splice with automotive electrical parts, I ended up using a terminal strip and feeding power and ground from the truck to it that way.- The illumination is too bright, even on D1 its brighter than my entire cluster, and gives my face a nice green glow to passing traffic- There is red LED back lighting but no use of it. It would be nice if the gauge could be programmed to turn red when a minimum or maximum pressure is met, user programmable.-When you wire it to Key-On Voltage (I.E. the white wire), since most cars drop voltage during cranking, the gauge cycles power. Annoying !! FYI- Wiring in a small 12V capacitor to the Key on Wire with a Didode fixes that.Lastly - Glow shift encourages the pressure snubber, but I have an Air Dog Raptor with its own external pressure regulator, and I have never seen a pressure spike beyond my set pressure at the pump (18PSI)

Dual readouts an great light difference
I installed this gauge on my 36 ft motorhome, the gauge was simple to install. My issue was due to the distance from the gauge to where the sender is located i had to cut the wire then splice in a length of replacement wire. I like the gauge in that it offers a digital readout as well as a analog gauge. As for illumination it has a great differential between night time an daytime, well worth the money

Nice guage - snubber S/B included
Great guage. Was ready to install when I read the instructions and it said that you must use a snubber to protect the pressure sensor. If that's the case why not build it as part of the sensor or include it with the guage kit??In my case, I had to go back and order the snubber and wait til the following weekend to do the install. For my 2000 Dodge, I was able to pull the headlight switch which gave me access to the wiring I needed (power, lights, & ignition) and just ran a wire down for the ground.

Amazing Value
Great product! Well built! Make sure you buy the snubber to go along with it. Fantastic costumer service.

great gauge
it was installed in my motor I now know the pressure

2006 Dodge Ram Cummins
So far, so good with these gauges, it's been about a month. I was hesitant but for the price, I pulled the trigger. Installation was simple and while they are bright, I connected the dimming wire to a keyed 12v source to remain on the night time dimmer setting. So far, I'm happy with them. They're pretty accurate and if they last, I won't hesitate to recommend them.
