Smarter Not Harder: The Biohacker's Guide to Getting the Body and Mind You Want

Great Reference for Quick Important Answers
I bought the Audible version, then within a week I ordered the hardback! As easy as this book is to listen to there was no way I was going to retain all the information-packed big picture concepts and spot on specific do this/avoid that information Asprey crammed into this health for not really dummies but super busy and overwhelmed folks kinda book! I knew this was a 'go through it once and then have the physical copy for the highlighter' type reference I was going to need. It actually came at a super important time for me, because I was aware I was starting to feel gradually worse and worse, when I was spending 6 months in a stress-free, idyllic environment that should have had me feeling gradually better and better... Enter the concept of minerals and water quality and contaminants, and I started noticing that (sorry if this is tmi, but...) in my clean toilet, I had black lines coming down the sides but not selling in a ring where the water rested once the bowl refilled... Internet searches for pictures of heavy metal showed that what most looked like what what going on in my water closet was manganese overload... Since I was guessing, but we were on a well for water supply, and a septic system, right by a protected wetland, I pulled some EPA reports and found that in fact the water supply came from a river nearby where many upstream facilities are still doing massive cleanup projects to remediate groundwater contamination. While a water sample has yet to come back to confirm anything at all is going on in that water supply, Asprey's book got me thinking about an issue I really don't think I would have seriously considered otherwise. I switched to bottled water and started to feel better within a matter of days. While this sense that I started feeling better may be a placebo effect, it's been important for me to realize that water quality matters, and minerals play an absolutely critical role in our well-being (and it's not just about food and supplements - the phrase 'there's something in the water' comes from somewhere after all!)... So this is just one example of how this easy to digest (pardon the pun) book of so much useful, easy to take in information has had a serious impact on how I think about my own health and that of my loved ones, and how much I will continue to return to Face Asprey's Smarter Not Harder, because I don't know about anybody else, but for me, harder just isn't a viable option in today's world anymore, and I'm open to all the no BS info I can count on. Even if I do find his coffee to be a little out of my price point - his solid information is what I can't afford not to have close at hand!

Do you want to Age Younger with vitality?
The book had good advice but it was too complex for my taste. Excellent information by author on the subject of health & aging very well. Albeit, Very interesting. Most of it is a bit out of my reach. Great author, I admire his discoveries to help us stay youthful as we age.

Great insight into biohacking but if you have read Bulletproof book before it’s about the same.

Owner's Manual.
If you're a health nut, Asprey's books are a must read. Super tips and hacks that work (at least they have for me). Very educational ‐ especially as related to how your body reacts in miniscule ways.

Una buena idea solamente
Una sola idea sobre la qué gira el libro y realmente no entra a gran detalle. En lugar de eso, recicla información de sus libros anteriores

Good BUT
Good general info ... nevertheless I was also very disappointed !Why ? I did listen to different YouTube interviews with Dave Asprey and in there it always came back that you can achieve better results by doing much much less. Furthermore me let it shine out that everyone can do this and that he finds all can do it almost for free. And there is the big lie !! All points to his Biolab machine hacks, that are only at the his labs and a a very high money ticket !So ... yes a good info book but don't expect to find the great solution he promises for the regular person. As this is a book ... I can not se d it back, else I probably would.
