Drawback (to me): The material on the brim is too thin, floppy to consistently hold a straight edge.Info: I thought I’d been buying and rebuying this exact Panama Jack hat for years, and giving it as gifts.But when I wrote the company, the rep wrote:“The Panama Jack Natural Matte Toyo Safari Sun Hat with Black Band, 2 1/2" Brim, UPF (SPF) 50+ Sun Protection (Medium) is a hat that is made of a softer toyo unlike our Matte Toyo Straw Sun Safari Hat.”So, apparently there are two different versions of the same design.Advice: Thus, if you prefer a straight, rigid edge on your brim, you may want to go with the “straw” version.

Panama Jack did a great job making this hat, looks and fits incredible! Really pleased with the purchase! Definitely worth the money which in my opinion half the cost of other lame @$$ looking hats I saw when I was shopping around.
