A few months ago I purchased the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream and instantly loved it. I was hesitant to spend the $50 on a jar of lotion but after I started using it, I figured it was worth the price. Until after a few weeks of using it after I was moisturizing after showering, it was at the end! Again, I had to purchase the refill size however, it was still $44. In total, I spent nearly $100 on roughly 6 weeks of lotion. And while it’s great, I just can’t justify the price. I looked for something similar and found Nurtrius Brazilian Body Butter Cream through others looking for a better replacement after they were tired of spending money too!Shipping was extremely quick - I received a 2 pack of the lotion within 24 hours and immediately opened it. The sizes are nearly the same as the SDJ cream, almost the same sturdy container and the scent is nearly identical with just a tiny bit of a lighter scent. What surprised me the most though was after using it, how soft it made my skin. In comparison to the SDJ, I’d say it works even better! I paid $22 in total for 2 jars the same size. The price point is amazing. If you’ve been on the fence about the SDJ lotion because of the price, I recommend giving this a try. Based on the amount and how long it will last, this particular body butter far exceeds most box store sizes. Well worth it!

Bought based on reviews stating it was a dupe of the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum #62. While it does a fantastic job of hydrating and soothing your hands, it is t exactly a dupe of the #62 as far as scent goes. It does smell amazing, but not necessarily close to #62. Would I buy it again, absolutely! But I will also buy the #62 cream so I have that scent as well.

It doesn't have the amazing tropical vacation scent of Bum Bum cream, but it still smells nice and moisturizes well. When I don't want to spend $50 on Bum Bum, I buy this.

Very nice lotion on its own. Bought it as I've heard it's a dupe for Sol de Janerio 62. It is not. Quickly absorbs and has a minimally greasy feeling. Smells like Shea butter with a slight floral finish. Very nice scent on its own but I thought it would have more of that pistachio/musk scent to it.

I really like the nice fragrance and that the cream soaks in and does not feel greasy. It leave my skin feeling soft.

Not 100% like the bum bum cream. It smells a lot lighter than the authentic thing, but it is very moisturizing. The product is thick.

Bought it since everyone has been talking about this being a SDJ dupe. Not the same at all! This cream has a much lighter fragrance with a slightly thicker consistency. It does sink into the skin and is very easy to apply. The scent is subtle but lingers, which I love. A good size for the quantity compared to the pricier options. I would recommend - just be prepared to receive something different from the SDJ cream!
