It is the best cookbook I've ever had - easy and fun to read, real recipes I'd actually try, and healthy on top of that! I had been floundering along with Trim Healthy Mama for a couple of years. This book has motivated me to commit fully to healthy eating. The recipes are all very do-able, using ingredients I've actually heard of. (Sometimes "special ingredients" are included, but can be found on desertcart, Walmart, or on their website; and they always suggest ways to get around having to use those ingredients.) The recipes are not only do-able, but most are easy and many are quick. (The previous Trim Healthy book had good recipes, but I found myself spending so much time in the kitchen, and making a huge mess for clean-up!) The "Prelude" chat before almost every recipe is helpful and entertaining. The index is much easier to use than the previous book. And the testimonies included throughout the book are encouraging. And most importantly, I've LOVED almost every recipe I've tried! (The only exception is when I didn't follow the instructions correctly.) If you are unfamiliar with the Trim Healthy program, it is explained in the first 3 chapters of the book - which are essential! I can highly recommend this recipe book for those wanting to lose weight, but also for anyone just wanting to eat a healthier lifestyle!

The best cookbook I've ever used!
The book is so affordable for all that's in it! I pre-purchased mine here on Amazon, but it's also in stores like Walmart. You Need This Book!
I was super excited to receive the cookbook, and I am not disappointed! Even as I am writing this, enjoying one of the Oolong recipes from inside! I admit though, I wish this would have been the first book I purchased because many of the recipes are in the style I prefer. While I can be a purist, as someone who works, goes to school full-time, and also helps my husband run our business, while also trying to help out family and friends, quick recipes are always going to be my "go-to" just because of time! So many awesome recipes inside and a great, concise explanation of the plan for someone who may be new to the entire program, but also an excellent refresher for those who are familiar but just need a little reminder from time to time. Plus, there are so many great recipes I can put into my meal planning that my family will love! As always, so grateful for the work of Serene and Pearl who are providing great information to help reclaim a healthier, happier life! When I started this program six months ago, I knew whatever program I decided to follow, would have to be something I could maintain a lifestyle. It could not be a diet. Today, while I am still on my way to getting where I want to be, I am already closer than I thought possible! Down from a size 20 to a size 12. I am eating so much more than I ever have, but still dropping weight/sizes. I feel so much better. I have times when I have to give myself grace, but hey, that is okay! If you want to regain control of your life, then you need to get this book! Not only will you see physical changes, but you will also begin to regain your life!

So happy to get this all new Trim Healthy Mama BIG cookbook
A couple years ago I had 2 friends that talked about Trim Healthy Mama weekly and how much they were enjoying the recipes. Well my thoughts at the time was "Not another fad for me," or "It won't last." Well they were loosing weight and their husband was also. About a year later my curiosity drove me to check the books out at the library. The more I read the more I wanted to try this because it was exactly what I was looking for. I already knew I needed to give up sugar, but there was more food, I learned, that drives your blood sugar up. Potatoes, flour, rice, corn, root vegetables, pasta. Anyway I purchased the first cookbook and they are yummy and satisfying! They teach you ways you can have the flavors and textures and fat, like butter, you love but make it with better ingredients. I got my new, just released, "Trim Healthy Table," cookbook today and it looks even better than the first one. In the new book there are testimonies of people (teens, ladies over 50, men) who have lost & lots of weight cooking the THM way with before and after pictures. Love the "Hangry Meals for One," chapter. Can't wait to try the delicious looking shakes, family meals, and on and on. There is many many pictures and NO short supply of different kinds of recipes. They just seem to know what appeals to my taste buds and my families. There is soooo much to choose from. I can't wait! Thank you Pearl and Serene for what you are doing!

I love the Trim Healthy Mama plan, I have their two previous books, including the first recipe book and that one has recipes that totally make it worth buying, but this book has more recipes with bacon, and ground beef, which I like to cook a lot with. Lots of really easy recipes also with chicken that are simply delicious. And the Wonderful White Blender Bread is totally easy and totally worth it! Yum!! I hope Pearl and Serene make anther book with more cooking with essential oils!

Great cookbook with a varieties of different recipes suitable for most preferences - and picky eater approved in this house. Lots of great sweet great options and both large and single serving meal ideas. BUT, the best part for me, and a key reason for me selecting this book, is the quick and concise breakdown of this way of eating lifestyle, and described variants of non-THM brand ingredients.

This cookbook is excellent! The recipes are scrumptious. The photography is wonderful. Pearl and Serene outdid themselves again! I liked their first cookbook, the recipes were tasty, but their second cookbook is even better! If you are new to the Trim Healthy Mama plan, do not hesitate! Buy this cookbook, eat delicious food (and I mean hand-over-fist kind of delicious!), and watch the weight melt off.
