These worked perfectly! I had a 24 hour sous vide Carnitas recipe I was following and tried these balls. The water level dropped less than 1" during the whole 24 hour! Amazing! A must use for anyone doing long time sous vide cooking.

They work, I guess. They're quite clumsy compared to, say, a cutout of bubblewrap. I don't think I'd buy again.

They work as they should, it's easier to push the balls out of your way, but that foil bubble insulation also works, and it's cheaper. You might need more than one set to cover all of the water surface

I know I could just use saran wrap but this just seems so much more economical. Just don't accidentally lose one in the disposal.

These are the best have only used them on a few shorter cooks but no water loss looking forward to trying on a longer cook for sure

These let me use any pot with my sous vide heater and keep heat loss and evaporation down. Well worth the price.

I should have just bought a lid. Cleanup is too much.

Works great just make sure you wash them before using as mine came with a bunch of small red strings mixed in from the bag

works as advertised and easy to dry and store. better than a plastic lid or a plastic wrap. I fill up my container with hot tap water, cover with the balls and let heat up, once at right temp I then easily plop my food bags right in with out moving the balls.
