Great for updating firmware on android and Apple auto radios.
Needed this thumb drive to update the andriod auto/ apple auto firmware on my dual car radio since it was already set to the default settings needed. Download the new firmware went to my car. Plugged it in turned the car on and right away the update started. Now my radio is updated and everything is working fine. Love that it comes in a three pack and they are matel.

Overall a good product. Durability? I just got it.
Overall a good product; but seriously, how would anyone know about the durability of a product they just purchased? Had to exercise caution on that point...

Nice looking average speed
Got this bundle to store images of different macOS versions. Didn’t have any issues. Although not a record breakers in terms of speed

Good Storage and Dependable
Not sure if these are supposed to be water proof or just resistant but one of them has been through the washer twice and still going strong.

An Economical 3-pack of USB 3.0 Flash Drives
Three LINTYLE Flash Drives came in a blisterpack, each in a different color and labelled as 16GB USB 3.0. The exterior shell of the drives is metal, which should be more durable and better at dissipating heat than drives with a plastic shell. The drives are also significantly smaller than most flash drives, but their unique “hook” shape makes them easy to insert and remove from a USB port.I plugged one into the USB 3.0 port on my desktop PC and scanned it with Kaspersky to verify it was clean. File explorer showed a capacity of 14.6 GB, verifying that it is a “16GB” drive [ drives treat a megabyte as 1000kb, while Operating Systems treat a megabyte as 1024kb].I ran a simple comparison test of the LINTYLE drive vs. a known JUANWE USB 3.0 drive (also available on Amazon) which I had on hand:>> Read 1096 files (6.23 GB of data) from the Desktop Hard Drive and Write them to the empty flash drive.MS File Explorer estimated the task time at 9mins 30 sec for the JUANWE drive and just 5mins for the LINTYLE drive. Transfer speeds of course varied throughout the task for both drives. Maximum rate for the JUANWE was 26MB/sec, while Max rate on the LINTYLE was 36MB/sec. During testing, both flash drives heated up noticeably, which is common with USB 3.0 drives. Using an IR Thermal Imager, I found that the temperature of the LINTYLE Drive rose about 30 degrees during the task period, from room temperature (~75F) to 104F, while the JUANWE drive heated up to 110F.So, the LINTYLE flashdrive is what is claimed – a 16GB USB 3.0 drive – and it operates a bit faster than one of comparable drives. The heat-up during testing, although common with USB 3.0 drives, suggests that extensive write operations might have a negative affect on the useful life of the drive. I was surprised to find that the all metal exterior of the LINTYLE drive didn’t seem to operate significantly cooler than a drive with a plastic shell. Overall, this 3-pack is an economical choice for home use, such as storing the kids’ homework files or the like.

Fast Speeds, But 16GB Capacity Limits Usefulness
Obviously, the 16GB limitation is small for a flash drive in 2023. And this LINTYLE 3 Pack USB Flash Drive 16GB USB 3.0 Thumb Drive with Keychain isn't for big jobs of transferring many large files or backing up years of photos, but it can be somewhat useful for file sharing on a smaller scale. In fact, one of my older laptops has been acting strangely and as I write this I'm trying to create a Windows Recovery Drive on one of these 16GB flash drives now. Windows said the flash drive needed to be at least 16GB, and these drives are slightly less than that when formatted. So I'll soon see whether it works or says it's not enough space. As for speeds, I experienced a Seq Read speed of 140MB/sec and a Seq Write speed of 44MB/sec (photo). Those are OK speeds in today's world. And honestly, with a 16GB flash drive, nobody is going to be sitting around for a long time waiting to copy its smaller files at these transfer speeds. Again, I see this trio of drives being useful on a limited basis for file sharing and maybe backing up photos on a small scale. But I always caution to NOT use "unknown" memory names as the sole means of backing up irreplaceable files, photos, or videos. If you can't replace the files, make sure you back them up using a well-known name in memory and storage like Samsung, Lexar, SanDisk, Western Digital, etc. Better safe than sorry in the Digital World.

Computer can't find it....
Computer can't find it about 40% of the time when I plug it in. Have to insert multiple times for it to finally get picked up and recognized.
