The good news is that it arrived quickly, was easy to unroll and set up, I noticed no smell, and it’s very well constructed so I believe I can look forward to many years of interrupted sleep with painful tossing and turning, and mornings of iceing while I have my first cup of coffee!I’ve been sleeping on this bed for a month now so I feel I can give an honest review. I hate it. I actually dread having to climb into it at the end of the day because I know I’ll wake up 4 hours later in pain. Both my shoulders, knees and hips are not happy. I’m actually iceing my shoulder right now as I type this, which is the result I get after sleeping on my side. I bought this to replace a memory foam mattress I had for years that finally wore out, so I’m familiar with 10” memory foam beds. This is nothing like my old one. I miss my old bed... I’ll buy a topper to try and save it, but “plush” is not a word I would use to describe this bed. Firm is more accurate. It’s like an inch of softness over a hard board. I’m seriously bummed.

LUCID 10 Inch 2019 Gel Memory Foam Mattress - Medium Plush Feel-Like many, I read hundreds of reviews of mattresses and I'm now convinced the reviews I read on this mattress were not specific to it at all. I looked for a mattress that was designed for side sleepers, people with hip pain, would handle more weight as I am a size 18, and from what I read here, I thought this was in fact the mattress. I was wrong. I even have added a 2" topper on top. There is not nearly enough support. You essentially sink down into this mattress like a pile of wet mud. I have to literally throw myself up or over to change positions. If I'm sleeping close to the edge, I feel like I could slide off. If you sit on the edge of the bed, it sinks halfway down. I could probably lift my feet and slide off onto the floor. I had previously owned a Zinus Cloud Comfort full size mattress prior to getting this split king size adjustable bed. It was much better for someone who suffers from hip/back pain, fibromyalgia and sleep issues. The only reason I didn't buy a Zinus is that they do not make that model in twin xl. So if you have these issues, this is NOT the mattress for you.

Disclaimer: I'm 24 years old and weigh 125 pounds.[5 year update]: I originally bought this in Fall 2015 and now we're in the winter of 2020. 5 years of sleeping on it daily and 2 moves later, the mattress is finally losing it's support! It's got a pretty clear indent where I lay every night, and my back is starting to complain about it. But $200 for 5 years is more than reasonable to me, so I'm sticking with my 5 stars.I've been sleeping on this for 4 months, and it's not sagging or starting to break down and become uncomfortable. I was sleeping on an old mattress for a few months before this one, and my back was so sore and out of whack after that, I did a lot of research before getting this mattress. This is soft and comfortable - I sink into it a little bit - but it's still firm enough to offer good support. My back feels normal again, anyway.I was also told over and over again not to buy a mattress online. Well, I'm so glad I did. This comes vacuumed flat and rolled in a box, and it was a breeze to set up (by myself, mind you). And the last time I bought a mattress from *insert well known mattress store here* and tested it out before hand, it was 4 times the price, and it was sagging within 6 months! If you're on the fence about this mattress, I say go for it - it's great quality for the price.I got a twin XL and it is true to size. It's sitting on the LUCID foldable metal platform bed frame without a box spring, and it fits perfectly.

I have only owned only Lucid beds for years. I have them in our house and our camper. Our friends and family love them also. We have 10”in camper, 5” in camper bunk beds and we have 10” at home. We weigh 140 and 240. Firm but soft comfort on top. Our friends weigh 300-400 lbs and love their 18” mattress . People say to get a thicker mattress if you are heavier weight. If after years it gets a bit soft flip it and put the gel and memory foam side down and foam up and you’ll get more years from it. Their is Firm and Plush. Plush is soft. I get firm and it gets softer each year. Pretty firm for 4 years daily use; then flip. Good enough price to replace them when they are soft. Usually pass the soft used ones to small grand children and perfect for them.

Let me just start out by saying, I was looking for a mattress for our guest room and I researched many, many mattresses before choosing this one. I chose this one based on price and good reviews for comfort. The mattress arrived in four days, and the box was very heavy. It took two of us to move it. After lugging it to the bedroom and onto the box springs, we opened the box. The mattress sprang right to life and was almost full size in the first few minutes. It only took a few hours before it decompressed to about 9 1/2". Then already, it was pretty level throughout and by the next day it was a full 10". There was never and odor during decompression or any time after and it was level with no lumps, hills, or valleys. My daughter likes a softer mattress for her back pain. During her last visit, she slept on the bed for a week and her back felt good. A few weeks later my son slept there for a night and he said it was very comfortable. I haven't tried it myself yet, but I will sometime soon.

I have painful arthritis in all joints. This mattress is excellent for me. It is soft so when I change positions it does not give any pressure points. It has excellent support for Lombard. Fast delivery. No smell when opened Best mattress i have ever had and I have had quite a few. Best sleep ever. It works great with the adjustable bed Thanks lucid.

Was hesitant to purchase this but so glad I did. This mattress is super comfortable and perfect for my 6'3" son. I thought it would be uncomfortable compared to his mattress at home ($2000 support mattress) but he likes it just as much. Big Win!!No strong chemical smell at all and puffed up in less than 4 hours.

am sad I learned the hard way, twin is not double size, it's a single bed.expensive for the quality/size

Perfect, delivered ahead of schedule, exactly as described. I opened in the garage and let them breathe for a couple days like they said.. no smell whatsoever after about a day
