Bought this to compliment my Roomba 900 series who has been hovering our carpets and sweeping our hard floors for over 3 years (1000 cleaning missions and nearly 700 hours logged) So far I'm pretty impressed, "Amaryllis" as I have named her does a great job, battery life is good with her cleaning my entire ground floor on 60% battery. I was impressed/disturbed with how much dirt she picked up despite me doing a manual clean just before the first time I used her. Took a few attempts to accurately map out a rug and a sunken doormat she kept venturing onto in the app, but with a bit of trial and error moving the areas aroung we got there. Really recommend doing a mapping run in each room and taking the time to properly set room boundaries and names etc (though for most she guessed correctly what they were) I bought her exclusively to do wet mopping (with Roomba doing a more regular pass to clear up dust and debris first) Even in ultra mode the floors are left only slightly damp and dry quickly and she does a better job than me getting into sides and edges. Very quiet in operation too and in general the mapping seems more intelligent than my 900 series roomba. Watching her carefully reverse herself onto the dock is a joy (compared to my Roomba that frequently misses the mark and takes a few attempts) I think so far my only concern/complaint is it seems less spares are available and on the whole the construction looks a bit harder to service....I have had to replace the wheel motors on my roomba due to worn tires...and this looks harder on the Braava and I can't see that the wheel units are available....hopefully they are more robust and don't need replacement.

I've owned a Roomba for about 14 years and finally decided to get a robot mop as my new house has a large tiled kitchen diner that's a nightmare to clear clean. The Braava Jet successfully mapped the area and gives it a good clean in about 20-30 minutes, navigating around obstacles. I usually pick up my door mat and lift chairs onto the table to give it an easier run, but otherwise it avoids these well enough. At full price I think it's a bit too expensive for just a mop but during sales where it's often 50% off I think it's pretty good value for money and you get the iRobot hardware quality which I appreciate (my old Roomba has gone through about 4 batteries but is otherwise still working great after 14 years). Update: After 4 weeks it's stopped working completely; the white light on the lid just spins endlessly. Tried troubleshooting, rebooting, removing battery, cleaning sensors. Finally holding the tank firmly against the front of the robot and rebooting it will finally start up again, but now can't navigate, accelerating backwards, spinning on the spot and trying to drive into walls. Had to return it unfortunately as during troubleshooting found so many negative experiences with this product I've lost all confidence.

I really like this little guy, but I have a few rugs and it just keeps getting stuck on them. I don't even know why it keeps going there but it will tell me it is stuck on a cliff when all there is is a 2cm high rug. But when it works in the other areas it is great and you can really see the difference.

It works really well and the time/effort it saves is fantastic - who enjoys mopping? The key is to run a cycle maybe every other day but certainly more than once a week. The first couple of cycles might be disappointing whilst it gets your floor to a reasonably clean state - then sticking to cycle regularly/often works very well. The pads are quite expensive and you'll soon chew through them - but they are effective. Buy a non branded cleaning additive - the Roomba one is crazily expensive. And whilst the mapping software is not perfect it is better than our S9+...it only occasionally gets stuck. This mop is highly recommended - not 5* because the consumables are too expensive.

I absolutely love my iRobot Braava jet m613440! It has made my life so much easier by taking care of the tedious task of mopping for me. The device is extremely easy to use - all I have to do is attach a cleaning pad, press a button, and let it do its thing. It navigates around my home with ease, and does an excellent job of picking up dirt and debris from my floors. One of the things I appreciate most about the Braava jet is its ability to automatically adjust its cleaning mode based on the type of pad I'm using. Whether I'm using a damp pad for a more thorough clean or a dry pad for a quick touch-up, the device knows exactly what to do. I also love that the Braava jet is compatible with the iRobot HOME app, which allows me to schedule cleanings and track the device's progress from my phone. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend the iRobot Braava jet m613440 to anyone in need of an efficient and convenient cleaning solution.
