Works GREAT on my 2009 Lincoln MKZ. Used procedure A to enter program mode. Feels like I got one over on the big car companies that want BIG dollars for their key fobs that only the dealer can program.

Brought this for my 2009 Mercury Marquis.1.Close all doors, then open drivers door and press the Unlock button on driver’s door while it is open, insert key into ignition.2.Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 8 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode. (if the door locks do not cycle, then it was done incorrectly. You must start over by removing key and beginning from step 1)(Off is the position where you can remove your key, RUN is the position just shy of starting your car.)3.Within 10 seconds press any button on the first keyless remote to be programmed. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. If you only have one remote then skip to step 5.4.Within 10 seconds, press any button on the second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. Repeat step 4. for all other remotes.5.Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

I purchased these because for wanted over $100 for a key and FOB replacement. I looked around and found these. I received 2 FOBs for $10; when they arrived I immediately installed them. The instructions did not come with them so I just googled "program remote for 2014 ford explorer" and the results showed up. It took me all of 2 minutes to program both FOBs. I would recommend these to anyone that needs to replace them. A no-brainer based on the cost.

Worked for two weeks.

I purchased these for a 1998 Ford Explorer I picked up as a project vehicle. I'm only giving them four stars because I did have a minor issue that was a bit frustrating. I looked up the process to program these to work with my Explorer, and it seemed pretty straight forward. But, while trying to complete the programming steps, I couldn't get these to work after multiple attempts. It felt like the buttons weren't pressing correctly on the remotes, so I pulled them apart, tested the buttons without the rubber button covers, and then put the remotes back together. After doing this and reattempting the programming, they worked. They work fine with a little finessing and looking up how to program them.

They look exactly like the one ones, programmed with ease and saved $110. Could not be happier
