I LOVE this chest of drawers. I love the look, the smoothness of the drawers. Having been in the market for one for a long time, this is a great piece that is reasonably priced but is not cheap and nasty. It is a lot to put together for one person but it's perfectly doable. I am very good at building furniture but it took even me a few hours over two nights after work to get it done (the drawers are tedious but not difficult) You may need someone to help you lift it at the half way point to put the back on - I managed to get the middle piece (which has to attach ½ a foot off the floor - I put stuff under it that matched the height I needed) but I'm stubborn and I should have asked someone to lift it for me. The materials feel like I should have paid more than $250 on sale. The drawers fit more than they look like they should and though the black coating can be easily scratched (I suggest putting a blanket down before you start construction) it is magnificent. Very happy.

I love this dresser. It looks great too. I bought it to go with other bedroom pieces of furniture that have a similar look and color and it blended well. Very sturdy and is a great value for the money. I put it together within a couple of hours by myself. All parts were there. The reason for 4 stars and not more is that one of the drawers tends to stick a bit but we are used to it now. Maybe it will go away after a while. Still, love the look of it.

Here is what was wrong: - Came with no instruction manual/I had to look up the PDF online in the Prepac website under the model number. - NONE of the pieces are labeled. All the wooden panels were all thrown into the shipping box with no labels. All of the drawer hardware was mixed up into different bags. - The two side panels (C3 & C5) were missing the holes for the wooden dowel and metal twist dowels to go into, so I had to measure/create 4 new holes 🕳️ with a power drill. - The pieces don’t line up flush and the pre-made holes don’t line up on some parts. Some gaps between pieces between attached parts are about 1/8”- 1/4”. - The drawers are uneven and have gapping in between and NOT leveled around 3/8” - 1/2”. See photo. - There were no instructions on how to adhere the front feet (bottom) so the dowels stick out the back and the dowels are a natural pine color and the rest of the pieces are drifted gray. The mismatched color and the laminate being stripped when the twist metal dowels were placed looks aesthetically unpleasing/cheap. - The thing is flimsy and scratches easily. Feels like college dorm room quality. - One of the drawers came chipped of laminate. I only purchased this piece because I already had the matching nightstands that I bought during the pandemic in 2021. If I had known the quality and construction of this dresser was this poor and such a pain the neck, I would have NEVER bought this. It took a total of approximately 5 ish hours to build due to the missing instructions and holes. Mostly it was time consuming trying to figure out all the parts and pieces/trying to compare/verify against the online PDF to see if it is correct. The pictures on the PDF are not clear and confusing as well. Not worth spending $295 on this.

I have purchased many Prepac items over the years. They all match and are used for a variety of different storage solutions. They are great for what they are. Relatively lightweight, easy to assemble, and not incredibly costly like most furniture in stores. This one came damaged and the piece was replaced quickly and easily.

took a long time. looks great. only issue is nothing was labeled so that’s why it took so long and had to redo things. otherwise it’s very study and heavy and has deep drawers. i think it was worth the price. love the color. also it did come with some scratches from delivery but since it was a darker color i was able to take a sharpie to the imperfections.

Sturdy, looks good, I really like the espresso color, and I bought the matching night stands and the colors matched perfectly. Took me 2hours to put together (including a dog walk). Was easy to put together cordless drill makes it quicker. Very pleased with my purchase

Just the right size for my bedroom. I wish the drawers were a little deeper. Reasonably priced.

I ordered two of these dressers to make a walk in closet island, and they came packaged really well, had easy, step by step instructions, and the quality of the furniture for the pricepoint was perfect. They even came with nice hardware! I am swapping it out for a different style, but very nice to include quality Richelieu hardware. 10/10 would recommend again.

First of all this dresser arrived on time and was completely undamaged. The assembly instructions were clear, easy to follow. Two people required for parts of the assembly. This dresser is solid and all drawers slide smoothly. The finish looks really good. I would buy this dresser again and I recommend it highly. Another big plus is that it is made in Canada.

Was pretty easy to assemble, the quality of the board is good, as expected. Very sturdy and has some weight once assembled - definitely requires 2 persons to lift. The depth of the drawers are a bit lacking - not as deep as I had pictured, but it does what it’s made for, which is to provide storage for our clothing, so this is not a complaint only an observation.. overall, it’s a good buy and I would recommend.

Difficult to assemble but very good quality

Standing next to the cabinet, I feel uncomfortable in my nose and eyes, but I have already thrown away the packaging box of the cabinet and it has been installed.
