Easy to carry
I enjoyed setting this mp3 player. It charged fast and so I immediately started using it. It rapidly opened up in my computer and I was able to drag and drop my favorite songs. It did have other folders for books, pictures and videos, but since I did not have any at the moment, I did not include them. The sound of the songs on the mp3 was amazing. Even when the volume was half way up, it was loud and clear. I liked that it brought earbuds and the replacements for the size of the ear. The manual was easy to understand, so I was able to operate the mp3 player fast. It is very compact, as it fit in the palm of my hand. I am definitely taking it with my to the gym, since it is smaller than my phone.

Super Confusing to try to use.
I wish I could get some help with this product. The manual doesn't help. After I sync with bluetooth I can't get out of the bluetooth options menu. I want to be able to select an artist or album but if I turn it off and back on it just goes to ALL. It's very confusing to operate but I'll keep it just because I'm going away and need it. I searched for model K188 but found nothing, I tried Newiy Start but found nothing. The manual doesn't even have the same buttons on the front so it refers to things that aren't even on the player. If anyone knows of a good source for detailed instructions please let me know. It does sync to bluetooth fine I just can't play what I want. I'm sure there is a way but I can't figure it out by trial and error.

DYSFUNCTIONAL after 1.5 months, but the seller is awesome
I bought this October 1, 2017 and it's now November 21, 2017 and it's MESSED UP!!WTF?It jams. It's just jammed. It worked great at first, the bluetooth always sucked though. I had to use a bluetooth adaptor for it to work fine. And now? It will not work at all.I was so happy when I bought this. Now I'm just miffed. Wasted money.I'm trying to find out how to contact the seller (funny how they're not making it easy to do that) for what they can do to correct this.It didn't even last 2 months? Are you kidding? And I have taken good care of it too.No reason why it should suddenly go haywire. It is currently stuck on the forward button, all by itself, it's going through the menu over and over and over..... can't stop it. I've turned it off and on several times, nothing.* * * * * EDITED TO ADD * * * * * * *I contacted the seller and I will give them and their customer service 5 STARS!They contacted me back right away, and I did receive a refund despite the 1 month return window being closed.Well that's just awesome of them. So, in honor of that, I decided that although I received a faulty product that stopped working after only a month and a half, I'm going to up the stars from 1 to 3 just to be fair.

Easy setup and use
If you're looking for a music player much like an ipod (they don't make those anymore), this is a good low-cost replacement. It won't interface with iTunes the way an iPod does but it has all the similar functionality as an ipod once the music is on there. To add music: Just attach this to your PC and it shows up like a USB drive. Drop the songs on the drive and voila, you have music on your player. The player has a little speaker built in but it's really meant to be used with a set of headphones or an external speaker. The interface is easy to use an intuitive.

Good device, horrible memory card support.
The device itself is ok, but their are problems using the memory card. If I put it in the device and drag and drop files onto it, the device can't find the music on the card. If I put the card into my windows PC, and drag and drop the files onto it, it works well, but the device does not recognize the card. So I am limited to just the small amount of memory on the device. On the plus side it works well with my Bluetooth speaker and car.

A nice product in many ways in need of a good firmware upgrade
I have a couple of very good digital music players and soon will have a very very good one. I bought this--an inexpensive device--to use at the gym to accompany dismal cardio workouts...choosing it over an abundance of other-brand clones likely made in the same factory in China mostly because of its exterior design (quite nice), its ability to play WMA files, and the complimentary things said about it by a number of reviewers. After owning it for a few months, as well as a couple of other similar products also tried out in the gym environment in months past, I do have some issues with it. First, with wired headphones, music played back sounds great; and also with wired headphones, navigating through music folders in both the internal storage and SD storage is pretty easy. But switch to Bluetooth and Mr. Hyde appears. Why can't the one or more companies that make these cheaper players from a nation of billions of people (many of whom must be software developers) get it right? Issues. 1. Noticeable drop off in sound clarity and output volume--just what is needed in the noisy gym environment! 2. Clumsier navigation through menus. 3. All those music files on the internal storage only appear as an endless list of individual tracks--wonderful if one wants to listen first to every Track 1 of every single album in internal storage. (Yes, the SD files, mysteriously, remain dutifully in their folders awaiting an orderly access and playback.) So, in conclusion, yes, a music player well worth its low price tag in many ways especially for those still tethered to headphone cords; but also one, like many players in its price range, does not get certain operating details right that it really could and should.

I bought 2,the first one wouldn't download music and it couldn't find my video avi files so back it went. The second one had issues also,it only would show 24hr time even though I set it for 12hr time, this one also cant find my avi videos.I would suggest checking out another brand that has the same features and at a much lower price.

1. The package appeared to be fine, but when we opened it it appears to have fingerprints and it looked like it was previously opened and there was no USB cable.2. Every time a SD card is inserted into the unit, the unit goes into a reboot mode over and over and over. Then the card needs to be reformatted again3. I tested the SD card in another card reader and it works fine, again reinserted into the unit and the card no longer works.
