If your doctor or podiatrist tells you that your flip flop days are over then they don't know about FitFlops! These flip flops are so comfortable and shockingly supportive. I have terrible spine problems and was sternly advised to only wear orthopedic sneakers or some other ugly. toe squishing, hot kind of shoe all summer. I'm no spring chicken, but I also don't want to wear granny shoes. Fit flops are an excellent compromise. They are super comfortable between the toes, they offer enough support (obviously don't wear them hiking) that you can wear them around the house or around town or the beach for several hours without causing problems. I just throw mine in the washer and they come out looking brand new. I have several pairs and I especially love the pearlized colors. Subtle, fun and don't scream "old lady?" My doctor still wants me to wear those hideous orthopedic shoes he is always talking about. I love him but you should see what he wears on his feet! FitFlops a great option for people who have ortho issues, or who just want a sturdy, comfortable flip flop.

I LOVE the orthopedic fit of these flip flops. I have accumulated 10 pairs over the past few years in several colors. I walk at least 10,000 step a day in them & they never hurt my feet. The one improvement I would suggest is a better, non-slip tread. I have wiped out on wet concrete, wooden walkways, & wet store floors while shopping. Water makes them extremely slippery, even on our imprinted concrete around the pool.

My go to sandals. Lightweight, true to size & very comfortable. Can wear for hours.

I’ve loved fit flops for a long time and was excited when a pair of “normal “ looking flip flops came out. These are comfortable and I feel like I can walk a good amount of distance in them with no issue. However, I have ordered the exact same pair THREE TIMES and all three have broken in the exact same way. On all three pairs the piece that goes in between your toes broke off on the left foot only. It didn’t pop out from the bottom, it just broke in half. All 3 pairs were black size 6. This has never happened to me before so I’m thinking it wasn’t related to how I walk. In a size 6 shoe and weigh 105-110lbs so I don’t think I’m too heavy for the sandal strap . If anyone needs right fit flops let me know

I don’t write reviews often but during my second trimester of my pregnancy. I was suffering from really bad hip pain every day. My OBGYN recommended I stop wearing my flat flip flops and find something more supportive. I really still wanted simple black flip flops that I can wear every day while running errands so I checked Amazon and found these! My hip pain immediately went away. I’m at 33 weeks now and these are literally carrying me through, I didn’t know how badly I needed something like this in general. I will definitely continue wearing even after pregnancy!

Nothing like the original fit-flops. They are hard, the plastic on the top is sharp, and there was no way that I was going to actually be able to walk in them without excruciating pain and blisters.
