The halo watch is a new concept for smart watches. Rather than simply being an accessory for your smart phone, the halo gives you the liberty to use it as its own device. This means its full android 5.1 OS gives you access to every app on the play store. Access to Wi-Fi or 3g lets you browse the internet with a built-in browser. Make phone calls, send SMS messages, and keep in contact all from your wrist without the need for a smart phone.

Great effort, but fell short for me
It's a seriously huge undertaking to adapt a full version of Android (not Android Wear) to a watch, and I have to commend Scinex for trying.I gave it a shot, and really wanted to make it work, but there are several issues, and I soon realized it wasn't going to. The last straw was when I tried to enter my wifi password, but wasn't able to because the keyboard does not contain a plus sign, which is in my password.Some other problems:-The watch band is a textured leather that really doesn't go with the whole smartwatch thing, and even if it did, it kind of looked cheap.-The watch is really thick.-The button gives little to no tactile feedback when you push it. It is pretty hard to tell if the press registers or not.-The OS was pretty unpolishedNone of those were individually a deal breaker, but collectively, it was clear that the experience was going to be more frustrating than not. That, together with the fact that the watch I received was not new (it even had the previous owner's contacts in it), made me feel pretty justified in returning it.It does earn a star for effort, seriously. Modifying the Android OS is no simple task. They almost got it right, in my opinion. But really, you're probably going to be better off getting an Android Wear watch rather than a modified Android watch.
