mostly the author is making the same scarf over and over again
this is a very skinny book (pamphlet - let's not kid ourselves). I knew that when I bought it. I made the purchase because I liked the look of the leopard scarf and I wanted to learn to make the fingerless gloves. Well, the book does teach that. But honestly, it seems a bit of puffery to make a whole book out of two patterns. Sure, the author has other patterns in the book, but they are all so much alike that they are really just more of the same. So get the book if you love something when you give it a look inside like I did when I wanted to learn to make the leopard scarf with the fingerless gloves. But don't kid yourself that you're getting a great deal with lots of different looks to build off of - they are all mostly the same with the fabric changed.

Good book
This book had just the pattern I was looking for. I have not made it yet, but the pattern reads like it will be an easy project.

love it
I like the book and am looking forward to making some of the pattern. I've been looking for a pattern for this type of hood for a while and I really like the one on the cover.
