I bought this dash cam for work and didn't really want to spend a lot for that reason. I checked out a lot of dash cams and settled on this for several reasons, the price, the reviews and also the accessories that came with it. The dash cam, far exceeded my expectations. I have found only two slight issues that I think could be improved upon, but because of all the pluses, thats a minor issue.The benefits are the quality for a start. The daytime picture is exceptional and with it being lighter evenings, I haven't yet tested the night vision, but evening vision is no problem at all and as good as the daytime. The ease for setting up the cam is foolproof and the easiest dashcam I have had as yet. The wide angle lens catches everything, even traffic etc that is slightly to the side when parallel, rather than head on. I read reviews about issues attaching to the screen, but provided that you don't overturn the lock, its sticks well. You can feel it click when it attaches. If it does come off, just clean the sticker or screen and its fine. It only came off, if the sticker was dirty or greasy and that has only been a handful of times and I've had this dashcam 3 months now. It also comes with a 32GB memory card which is fine for shorter journeys. I bought a 128GB card which lasts me a full shift of 10hours continuous footage with ample to spare. I also like that it came with a USB card reader stick, which meant adding to my pc so much easier.The only negatives for me are that it does not have a zoom facility. Also that the format is MPeg2-TS video which is easy enough to watch, but I had to convert the clips to AVI to upload as not all sites use that format. Finally, the cable that attaches to the camera has come free of the cover and maybe a stress factor eventually, but that has been remedied by taping around it.Even so, I highly recommend this dashcam and I am impressed with it on the whole.

Managed to fit this myself and it was relatively straightforward. Only downside is that my Rav4 rear door opens sideways so the rear camera cable dangles a bit and one of my clumsy dogs got his head under it! Will need to rethink where to run the wire. Other than that, it records immediately the ignition is switched on. The playback was a bit jumpy but the quality was great so I'm going to invest in a Sandisk micro SD to see if that helps. Really like that the card can be inserted into the included USB "thingy" and read on a laptop, indoors. Not tried it in the dark yet. Feel much safer now as a woman often driving alone. Update: have bought a high quality Sandisk micro SD and the front recorder of the dashcam still jumps and pauses on occasion. So obvs not sue to the quality of the SD card. Will try and see if this is a "normal" issue with dash cam recordings.

This camera is an ideal, low cost product, no major issues and would recommend highly after using products 4 x the price.

Great value for money works well easy to install

Purchased this for my car, camera doesnt record when the car is switched off, because the battery without car on lasts not more than 5 mins therefore it doesnt record everything. Additionally it is very difficult to connect and download the files because it keeps disconnecting or connects only for very few seconds. One star for very clear video.Waste of money, better save from this purchase and purchase a bit better quality dashcam thats worth it.

UPDATE- I have use it for about 6 months and I’m very impressed of the quality of the audio and visuals. Make sure you connect the camara to your phone WiFi to ensure you have full download of all the footage otherwise it will overwrite and delete itself after only a few videos. The overheating is not too bad after all as it doesn’t heat up to a dangerous level. I used to all summer and had no problems with it. This is why I have changed my review from 4 * to 5*. Highly recommend and not need to buy something super expensive.I got it in the sales for £35 and I was impressed. The definition is very good. I can see clearly number plates etc. Super easy to instal from your cigarette lighter and took me about 15 minutes. If you want to use a hardware kit to connect from your battery I do t think it will take long to do neither but I don’t have the tools to do it myself. With the correct tools, looks simple enough. It does overheat a bit too much for my liking in a half an hour trip so I’m not sure how bad it gets when driving on a long journey. That’s the only reason I give it 4 stars as I think it’s too hot and may get much worse in the summer months. If we get any that is. Is beautiful, light, and great visuals. The app is easy to use and you can easily download the footage and save them etc.

No complaints with this dashcam at present, was easy to install, build quality was good and was easy to install. A big upgrade from my previous dashcam, the video footage from this new dashcam is very good, easy to read numberplates and other information etc.Support was also very good, had a quick reply from them when emailing to register my warranty.Amazing quality for such a low price in my thoughts, will be recommending to anyone who needs a dashcam.

I originally fitted the this camera just for the front of my car, today I set it up for the rear as well, I disconnected it after trying it out as this front and rear cameras come up together and the images are so small you can't see them clearly.Using the reversing image whilst reverseing is extremely difficult because of the size of the slots image.
