Leather Journal, Handmade Vintage Refillable Travel Diary Writing Notebook Gift for Men & Women 7"x4" Green

I purchased this for my first travel journal. I wanted something like Ali Brown's Lovie (youtube), but at a fraction of the price. I give this a 4 star for the number of bands and the placement of them. There are only two bands that attach to the leather folder and they are in direct vertical alignment of each other. These were also a bit loose with no slack to adjust. Yes you can fit 3 folders but if you want to add folders, dividers, additional flaps, zip bags... the elastic cords wont be able to support them. THAT SAID, I purchased the purple and LOVE the color, GORGEOUS! The leather is soft and supple, no rolling needed (my opinion). I have experienced any rub off from the die for the leather. There are a few spots that look like over pour of die but isn't that bothersome since it is only view-able from the inside. The paper pack includes lined, blank, and square grid all on an off white/eggshell toned paper. The paper packs are staple bound (little washi tape and your golden). The grids and lines are pretty visible but not as much as school paper. I wanted something that would support the amount of ink and watercolor I would be using in my journal. For my level, it holds up to the beating I have given it so far. I have used archival ink and Dr. Ph. Martin's black star and considerable amount of water color and water for distribution. Much to my surprise it held up! There wasn't any breaking down of paper with the use of water color, water, and the amount of scrubbing. I haven't used a pen to experience any bleed through, but I do see a small amount of ghosting. This isn't bothersome when the next entry is laid out on the opposite page. All in All I would give this 4 1/2 star; to make it a 5, add 4 vertical elastic cords (horizontally placed with in each other) and allow more slack for tension adjustment. This said great buy for my first travel journal.

I got the purple one and the color is exactly as pictured. It’s real leather and I love the distressed look it has gotten. It easily holds 3 of the travelers notebook inserts. And the pen holder is AMAZING. Fits snuggly on the cover and is the perfect size to hold my custom ink joy pens from Etsy.

Having fallen down the travelers notebook rabbit hole, I now own 3 standard sizes and 3 passport sizes - all from different makers. Each of my journals are well-loved. This one is no different. In fact, it is definitely the best priced of all of them with the extras that come with it. I chose the color green since it is my favorite color and I have not been able to find this color with any other seller at this point. It came within a week and is truly a breathtaking color. I had seen the miniature journal charms and was very happy to get one with my order. Such a cute charm to have as a traveler's notebook "collector". The inserts that come with it are a perfect combination for journaling needs. And the paper is nice and thick for my fountain pens. I will definitely be ordering more colors in the near future. Whether you already own other brands or if this is your first consideration - it is worth the investment! Wonderful journal!!

I don't like this little leather piece on the string. The charm doesn't work well with it in my opinion. Wish it had a row of 3 strings rather than just one but if you don't carry many notebooks, this would work very well for you. The leather is really pretty.I'm planning to get a Moterm cover for the the strings and extra pockets but I'm going to use this one to study for my wine exam. The color and size are perfect and I can just carry the notebook for the region or varietal I'm studying that week. I won't need a many inserts so it is just the right size!

Love this traveler's notebook Dark Green standard size. It is beautiful and the package was heavy. Its a great value, because it comes set up and ready to go....unlike the higher cost travelers notebooks that come with maybe one insert or none at all and no accessories. Love the charms.Direct critique:-This TN is the same size as the black midori and the same thickness ( please note that the black midori is the thickest out of all the colors)-The difference is that the interior part of the TN is rugged, which is fine, because its' leather.-The leather is soft and supple ( not plasticky or thin or fragile)- The inserts are good quality, paper is thick, over 100 gsm at least, lines and grid are petite.- folder insert is sturdy- latch and leather pen holder is sturdy and soft.Overall, I have bought several TN's from several companies, including midori, and I believe that this product is a steal. You are getting so much and great quality leather for a manageable cost, and you don't feel cheated.

The media could not be loaded.  The travel journal is overall a good buy. The paper inside is actually pretty good quality. Handles my fountain pen inks well enough. But I am going to be replacing them with midori inserts.The feel threw me off at first. You don't have the classic smell or feel of good worn leather. It also gets a lot of imprints and scratches pretty easy. Takes a bit to rub them off. But I could just be used to buying really worn leather journals. I did show the difference between my A5 moonster leather journal and this journal in a quick video.Overall I would definitely recommend this journal for anyone trying to get a cheaper travel journal for their midori inserts.In the picture the journal is on top of A4 tomoe river paper and next to a Pilot parallel pen

Ce carnet de cuir est vraiment superbe. Le cuir de la couverture est souple et la couleur magnifique. J'aurais cependant préféré des élastiques un peu plus épais (ceux pour retenir les carnets et pour fermer le livre). J'ai l'impression qu'ils pourraient se briser assez facilement. Je dis ceci parce que je possède un autre carnet de cuir, et les élastiques sont beaucoup plus robustes que ceux installés dans ce carnet.Mais bon. Franchement, c'est un très bon achat pour le prix. Je mettrais 4 1/2 sur 5 mais on ne me permet pas de mettre les 1/2 étoiles!!

Me encanto esta libreta por el precio, llego a tiempo y en perfecta condicion, el empaque trae aparte de la libreta 4 insertos, en mi caso fueron dos de hoja en blanco, una de cuadro chico y otra de raya, aparte vino con el accesorio para poner una pluma, una liga elastica adicional, un accesorio para la libreta y una especie de llavero en forma de la misma libreta pero en pequeño, en general el cuero se siente muy bien y suave, el papel se siente de muy buena calidad y no he tenido nada de problemas de control de calidad, escogi el color cafe y me gusto mucho, comprare mas en el futuro :)

La calidad es súper buena y rl diaeño esta divino, pero es muy chiquito!! Si cabe perfecto en la bolsa pero si eres de letra grande mejor escoge otro tamaño.
