Perfect Christmas kitty nails 🎄🐈⬛
My boy Meeko is around 15lbs so I got the large size for him. They’re easy to put on, great quality, and stay on. I put them on him a few days ago and they’ve stood up to him trying to bite them off. Not one is chewed off or has fallen off :)One tip for putting them on would be to to hold onto your kitty for a good 10 minutes or longer (as long as you can) to give the glue a really long time to solidify. I’ve done that every time I’ve put nail caps on him and have never had one come off.I’ll update my review if they come off before they’re supposed to. But as of now they’re still holding up and would recommend them :)

Make your cat look cute AND protect your furniture. It's a win-win.
I recently adopted four stray kittens. I just fell in love with them when we rescued them off the streets. But just because I love animals doesn't mean I love all the problems that come with pet ownership. And my boyfriend does not share my "enthusiasm" about these kitties. Although he secretly loves them, we both worry about what destruction four kittens can accidentally and naturally cause. And we love our nice furniture. So therefore: nail caps for kitties! And these were so fun for Christmas!!! At first I didn't know if I would like them, or if the kitties would. I thought: "How the heck are they going to retract their claws with these thick vinyl covers on?" Now, I'm working with my cats a lot, training them to be highly tolerant to being handled and cuddled by us (us includes my two very responsible pet loving children) and others (which includes several children that make me cringe when they look at my pets because their parents are NOT teaching them proper animal handling behavior). I'm even working on the very difficult task of toilet training them. And part of their handling includes daily "paw massages" lol. So, my kitties barely put up a fight when I first put these on them. And I just let them nap in my arms for a while as the glue dried. I thought the covers looked dumb at first but after giving them a chance I love them. They all did walk around for about 30 minutes shaking their paws, stumbling around, licking their claws and looking confused, but they got over it quick. Now they wear them everyday and they don't even act like they notice anything is there. On my kitties they fall off every few days, just a few though and I find them and stick them back on. I think it is because their nails shed quickly because they are still overcoming the malnutrition they survived on the streets. The outer layer of their claws is always peeling. No big deal though. Like I said, find the cover and stick it back on. My kittens are 3 months old. At first I thought the covers looked huge and cut them as suggested but I've realized since then that they are fine the way they originally come. I've now ordered the light blue glitter ones and can't wait to put those on my fur babies (all four of them are boys). Lol Do be prepared for some weird looks from other people who will think you painted your cats toe nails! Hahaha I would suggest these to any cat owner. Especially at such an affordable price. At PetSmart they sell a pack for like $20, and I don't think you get 40 (I got two packs, so a total of 40 covers for less than $10 here on Amazon from Purdy Paws) and their style selection is lousy in comparison.

Sizing is strange
The sizing on these is a bit mysterious and kind of a trial by error. I ordered two sets, small and medium for my cats. Both sets were too big for my cats. Claw size is independent of cat size. The small fit my large cat and kitten size were needed for my small cat. For the average size domestic cat, my recommendation would be to start with the small and then order up if needed because they will cover the portion of the visible nail and work for preventing clawing of furniture, etc. Also would recommend only capping the four front toes unless your cat has more. Covering the dew claw would be a waste.

Great product!
Whoa! What a difference this product makes! Our kitty kept getting her claws stuck in our carpet & clawing at furniture. We have only had her for 2 weeks so I wanted to break that habit soon as we are getting new furniture in a few days. She's not a scratcher or biter so she really didn't fight me when I got her to cut her nails. I wrapped her in a towel just in case & rubbed her a bit. She let me cut her nails and then we moved onto the caps. I did them myself pretty easily. I watched a video on YouTube a few days ago to prepare myself. They were on in about 5 minutes and I kept her in my lap a little while after & gave her a treat for being a good girl. She has been licking but hasn't bit at them (yet. And hopefully won't!) no more stuck nails!! And hopefully no more scratching furniture!

Totally Recommend!
This product was really great! I recommend two people for this job. I live alone so it was tough to do it on my own. Over the course of two weeks, one on each paw came off. It came off while she was using her scratching post. I accidentally threw away the glue and extras so I wasn’t able to replace it. Such a great product!! So many compliments when I post pictures. :) will be buying again soon!! Thank you for your business.

This is the best brand out there
This is the best brand out there! I tried others once and they didn't fit...said they were for cats or dogs and didn't fit the cat's claws at all. I will never buy from anyone other than Purrdy Paws!! This pack was the only colored pack I had trouble with. The red color bled onto the white ones. Maybe from heat? Not sure. But they just looked like red and white tye dyed!! Will still only buy this brand!!!

Cat lovers
Works okay. They fit as long as you trim your cats nails. Always make sure you check for the right size. They don't stay on that long though. I find caps all over my house. I got glue that was all dried up. But I love that there are so many colors to pick from.

Does not hurt my cat. :)
My cat handled me putting them in pretty well. I’ve been monitoring him since I put them on and he seems to have no issues with them. They’ve only been on a day but nothing has fallen off yet and they do not appear to hurt him in any way. It has been so nice for my one year old and I to play with him without him accidentally scratching us. I wish I knew about these before the two holes our cat out in the couch, but at least I know our new leather couch we are getting won’t ever incur this problem. Thanks, so far these seem to work excellently. :)

Not long lasting
The product has good intentions. I brought the product and my cat to the groomer. The groomer clipped my cats nails and then put on the plastic nails. Some cats will try to rip them off asap said the groomer but my cat adjusted right away. My cat came home and was happy with her new nails and I was happy that my furniture would live longer. This lasted one week and then they started to come off. If they lasted a month than it would be worth the $33 groomer fee.
