Quesvow 150W Car Power Inverter DC 12V to 110V AC Converter with Dual USB Port Charger-Red

I bought this to replace a bulky 400W inverter I have in my truck that I use to power a laptop. The 400W inverter was big and scratched up from years of use and I had to use a 1:3 cigarette lighter adapter so I could plug in my phone chargers too. This device looked ideal, it could power the laptop and charge my phone. I took out my 400W inverter and plugged this one in. As soon as I hit the power switch in the back, I heard a crackle sound and it was dead. Mind you, I did not plug in a laptop or my phone yet, just this small inverter in the same outlet as the old larger inverter. I checked the fuse panel and it blew the 15A accessory fuse. I put a new fuse in and it blew again. I am out of fuses and now I have no charger and my car stereo won't turn on. If it worked, it would be perfect because of the small size and USB charger.UPDATE:Amazon refunded me with no request from me, first time that happened! Regardless, I decided to try one more time and ordered another as the size is perfect. I plugged the new one in and it turned on normally - success! Next, I plugged in the charger for my DJI drone and the inverter turned off after about 10 seconds. It would turn on again after a few seconds, then off again and keep cycling. I thought perhaps I was pulling too much power so I measured the wattage my drone charger needs using a Kill-A-Watt (An awesome device available here: https://www.amazon.com/P3-P4400-Electricity-Usage-Monitor/dp/B00009MDBU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1521206773&sr=8-1&keywords=killawatt ) From a house outlet, my drone charger uses exactly 111W. This is advertised as a 150W inverter. My car battery voltage with the engine running is 13.8V and 12.3V when the car is off. With a factory 15A fuse, I should be able to pull 200W from the cigarette lighter, so the 12V source (car electronics) is not the issue, it is just a falsely advertised poor performing inverter.

the first one I ordered didn't work and I tried it on several cars..asked for a replacement..if they send one i will update...update...the company rather quickly DID send me a replacement which was a nice thing! Thank you! This one works :) I can't give it five stars since the first one did not work and I don't know how long this one will work...I will update as time goes on.

Pretty good so far! Using it to power my dometic cfx75 fridge/freezer. Gets a little warm but it works great. My fridge at most uses about 98watts of power when on and this inverter handles it no problem.

Nice equipment, did the job with my laptop on the 110w port. Nevertheless for the paid price it would be better if it was a fast charger through he usb ports.

Got this as a father's day gift and it was a hit! My husband loved it and so do his buddies especially when i told them price! We use it for our river boat and also in the car it has been splashed a little with water with no problems

I used it for three weeks and found it made a strange noise. I didn't think the quality was good enough.

I love this! Terrific price and worked perfectly. Went on a 13 hour trip in the car and needed this for my cpap machine. I could also charge my phone while using it. Highly recommend this item!
