Tomato Black Cherry Seeds in Pictorial Packet from a UK Seller Heavy cropping with a Very Rich Flavour

Put them down at the end of March indoor, all germinated! Then moved in greenhouse in mid May and the result is in the photos! Very good crop, very nice sweet taste. Yes they are more reddish than purple, but still happy with them!

Black cherry is one of my favourite tomatoes Along with Honey Bee, so I was gutted when none germinated. Perhaps it was the greenhouse was too cold (my other varieties did fine) or perhaps the seed compost was too ‘heavy’. Will definitely give them another go next year and see if they take.

I ordered these because I planted them last year and they were very tasty. However, the tomatoes are red, and not purple. So, although they taste great, they're the wrong variety.
