Samantha Boxed Set With Game (American Girl)

Love these books it brought up good topics on conversations to have with young kids without being graphic. The ends of the books also have period photos and explanations. On to the next character!

I got this set of books for my granddaughter for Christmas 2010. She had just received a Samantha doll from her Great Aunt. Well, we have just finished reading all 6 books and loved every one of them! My granddaughter didn't want me to stop at reading just one, she wanted me to keep reading, she was so interested in the stories! I read until I began to cough from a dry throat! LOL We both loved the history lesson that followed each story. The little snippet about the next book didn't help at all! Ha Ha! That just made her want me to read another book! Now we need to read the Nellie book!

This was a lovely used set in very good condition. Of course, the story has been good since they first came out years ago.

My 1st grade daughter recently inherited some American Girl dolls and has become obsessed with them, so I bought her some books to go along with her dolls. She devoured this book series in no time. She loved the part at the end of each book where it has photos and talks about what life was like during the time period.

Gave as a gift to my step daughter

This is my granddaughter's introduction to an American Girl series. She even goes to bed 15 minutes early so she has pleanty of time to read. She's on the 4th book and I'm looking into which series to buy next. She loves it. And like all American girl stories, the stories are told imparting touch choices and female heroes.
