You get what you pay for.
I bought the guitar knowing full well what I was most likely going to receive for the price. I've been looking for inexpensive project guitars, and this fit the bill. It plays okay out of the box, there is some fret buzz, so I'm probably going to have to level and crown the frets, they definitely need a polish job. The finish is nice, and actually better than what I expected. Unlike the product photo, there is no binding on the body of the guitar. There is paint on the binding of the neck, like they assembled the guitar and sprayed it without masking it off properly. There is a on the body near the cut out for the neck that will need fixing, and the neck is not seem less in the neck joint, I haven't removed it yet to see if it is shimmed, but there is a decent sized gap. The nut also doesn't seem like it was made for this neck, it doesn't fit in the slot properly. The body not being present on the binding is a disappointment, and I feel it doesn't justify the price increase over the purple or red burst paint jobs. If you're looking for something to tear down and revamp, or just a beginner guitar, you could go for this, but I would suggest just spending a few extra bucks and get an entry level Squier or Epiphone. I wouldn't say I have buyer's remorse, but I won't be buying another one, even for a project guitar.Edit. The electronics are not grounded so be prepared for terrible hum from the guitar.Edit 2. I spent some time working on the guitar, mainly leveling and crowning the frets, and basic setup. I left the electronics alone for now, as it does sound pretty good though my Orange Crush 30rt. Once I got it playable I do enjoy the guitar. If you're looking for something to hone your setup skills on but aren't ready to buy a DIY kit, these guitars are a good deal.

Good guitar. But you better know how to set up and retool electric guitars
This is a beatiful guitar. It plays well and sounds good and well constructed. But you better know how to set-up a guitar. It need truss adjustment, sitting of fretts, and bridge adjustment. Mine also need pickup cavety routing since the hole was not cut correctly. It also needs the three way switch replacement since the one that came with the guitar was defective. The strings are low quality so replace immeadiatly. Since I refurbish guitars it doesn't bother me. But if you don't know any of this, you will spend more that this guitar cost having these things done.I'm going to install higher quality humbukers and it play and sound like a real Les Paul.

Really good guitar for the price.
Good guitar for beginners and intermediate players. For the price, you can't beat it. Only gave it 4 stars since I had to take the neck off to remove a glob of glue that was making the neck pickup crooked. Plays good with only a little string buzz but not bad. Stays in tune pretty good even with the strings that came with it. Has a good weight and solid feel.

Great buy!!!
I gave this one a 4 but more like a 3.5 based solely on performance. There are cosmetic things such as pits in the body, pickups and tuning machines but that fixable. The main ones are the jack( loose and improper fit) sound cuts out no matter what patch or amp is used and finally the wiring. Could be a little mor organized and attention to the ground. It does lose tune fairly easy but that can be fixed easily. Over all it plays and sounds great. Will be upgrading it soon. More info to come. Thanks again!!!!

awsome
Sounds really good, just had to clean it up and put on a good set of strings. Intonation per set was pretty good. The strap that it came with is really nice, feels good. Pick ups and dials work good.

Amazing guitar for the money. Looks like a much more expensive guitar. Came to me right away and in perfect condition. Put better strings on it, and it sounds great. Tom
