I am used to the stiffer yard sticks. I thought this was one of thoshe. But sadly not. Still works.

I don't know why I had such a time finding this thing on Amazon. All I wanted was a plain metal 1 foot ruler for my shop. I didn't want a larger one because I had one but it was always too big for most of my shop activities. Also, I didn't need one with 64ths, verneir, degrees, millimeters, etc.,etc. Just a plain metal 1 foot ruler, aluminum preferred. Well, this is it. It is a very well made quality aluminum ruler & I'm tickled to death with it.

This aluminum 36" ruler is well made and sturdy. It was also packaged well and arrived with no damage.

This is a nice yardstick, and I lost my first one - "borrowed" by my neighbor - and I was glad to be able to get another!

What I like about this yard stick is that it also has mm and written instructions on the stick to charge to cm. This has really helped with the various patterns using metrics.

I really liked this yardstick. it is not heavy and very easy to read the numbers and make measurements. It will not get nicked like a wooden one. it is the first metal that I have ever owned. I am very happy with it.

I bent it within 5 min after receiving it. It WILL bend right back, BECAUSE ITS CHEAP CRAP !

It’s sturdy and work for measuring and using as a straight edge for cutting. I am pleased with this product.

I use it on paper and card. I wish the edges were bevelled to offer a closer/ more accurate pencil line. The hole edge should be smoothed because sometimes the hole sharpness catches on my paper. I find the surface a bit shiny so can be hard to read with a glare. It’s relatively easy to maneuver but for me the underside has a bit of resistance which I’d prefer to be a bit slicker for moving across paper, but not a big deal. It holds a strong edge but I like that it’s slightly flexible and is lightweight, and I’m glad it’s width is not overly wide.

Accurate enough, measures a yard. Light weight, straight edge. What more do you want?
