Going on 8 years.
I’ve had this brush for nearly 8 years!!!! Still going strong!!!! When I purchased it, I want to say that I paid around $25 for it (?). I was in college, and for me that was a lot of money. What it’s currently being sold for is still quite a hefty price….. But I love this brush and how soft it makes hair feel. Over the years, it’s been so consistent at working the tangles out in a more gentle manner. It never really shed any bristles.I will say that you MUST clean it regularly or else fuzz will stay lodged in the bristles. I typically wash and shampoo the boars bristles to avoid that.I think at today’s price you’re still getting a screaming deal…!!! If you have thick. curly or wavy hair, I do think that you could still use this like I do. It works extraordinarily well at smoothing out your hair if there are flyaways, I love to use to braid my hair and make sure that the braid is as smooth as possible.I know that it’s possible to do all that with other brushes, but something about this brush is sturdy and reminds me of how we used to make brushes last a lifetime.I simply know that I will have this forever, and I like that it’s made of natural materials. The wood and the boar’s hair are guilt free items that I would have no problem recycling, but like I said, I think this product will have a life for as long as I do.I travel with this, too, and I typically put it in my water bottle holder so it’s very prone to being thrown around in my bag. That’s a testament to its durability because I’m pretty sure I slammed this thing on the floor a couple of times by mistake. Im surprised that the neck of the handle hasn’t snapped. It also is fairly lightweight and that’s probably why I keep going back to it for my travel brush. Durability. My guess is that for this brush, the bristles are very packed together and dense, which means that they can withstand quite a bit of pulling on my hair without making the bristles ever becoming soft.Because I have had this brush for so long I recently decided that I would purchase a different brush from the same brand. This other brush is currently sold for over $100. I was given a gift card, which allowed me to work up the determination to buy it. I mean, they really did it. This company made me buy something else from them and that’s a pretty awesome thing if you go and check out the page it’s very informative. It makes me feel like they are a pretty trustworthy brand.

Excellent brush, love it for my long, fine, thin hair.
I have long, fine, thin hair. I only use boar-bristle brushes because they are gentle on my hair. As a result, I do not have split-ends and my hair is soft and shiny despite the fact I'm over 70 years old. This brush is a joy in that it is light weight, easy to hold in the hand, and performs beautifully like a quality boar-bristle should. The bristles are heavy/stiff enough to pickup and easily glide through the hair. I love it and would recommend it especially for those who have fine, thin hair.

German Made
These are made in Germany and an Idaho company imports them, from what I can tell. It feels too light in my hand but so far the brush works well on my hair, even though the bristles are a bit softer than I like and therefore don't really reach the scalp well. It is still really nice and I like it overall, use it every day.

100 percent Natural Boar Hair from Germany
It's February 8,,2025 but we're going to buy two more, don't know the difference with calcutta and the other one I can't find 2 of 3 brushes, my favorite for Brandy, golden retriever she loves when I brush her red coat not like 6 to 10 years ago but that brush it's the $19 more oval deeper bristles just bought one, Belula brushes, but these are more pocket friendly. Wished I could get it overnightđź’Żimpossible..100% Natural Boar Bristle Hairbrush for Healthy Hair - Gentle Care, Made in Germany as I've purchased 6 of these plus the other variations of this same hair brushes, as I've used it for myself and Brandy my golden retriever that loves it when I brush her long hair, she's 12 years old now, and I love brushing her hair with these well made brushes that's made in Germany. I also bought a different one, for either of us, and I know we both will really like them. And what made my experience even better was Amazon customer service, her name is a hard one to pronounce, so I asked her if I could call her Sugar. She got for me, the $14, or $15 credit to my Amazon gift card and also got for me and Brandy, a promotional credit, I think ot was for around another $24.00 & I was a happier customer. It's not about the $14.00 but it's how the chat system worked and I was not very happy especially spending excessive time but with all this aside, I can start brushing Brandy's hair, and even my own hair as well. Maybe at a later time, I will display those brushes and explain how it takes out tangles with easy strokes, with smoothness. Love those brushes, bought so many of them throughout the past few years at least! Gary and Brandy of Kaneohe, Hawaii as again I will come back to show off my hair brushes! Thanks Amazon customer service because od Sugar Lady January 14, 2024 Wednesday night!!

Moldy Brush
I've only had this brush about 2 1/2 years and I just had to throw it away. I'm wondering if mine was just flawed or contaminated because I didn't see anyone else complaining about this.....mildew [I think] grew on mine. The inside of the brush turned black sometime last year. So I started to make sure it always dried face down, so moisture wouldn't stay inside the bristles. I clean my combs & brushes often so it wasn't because of product. But a couple of weekends ago, I was out of town and put my wet brush in a plastic bag before I came home. I just took it out of the bag and saw that mold grew all over it....it was disgusting so I just threw it away since it was already damaged. Other than that, I loved how it did with my hair....thin, but coarse 3C, 4A, 4B curly hair.
