The CATEYE Bike safety lights are bright, thin, and easily fit to both the handlebars and back post of the bike. A nice plus was that batteries for each light were included. I am very happy with the lights so far.

I like to take walks in my neighborhood (which does not have sidewalks unfortunately) after I get home from work and eat dinner. Usually that means walking in the dark, so I get concerned about sharing the roadway with drivers. This set of CatsEye safety lights come with belt clips, and they work perfectly to draw attention to me (I wear a reflective vest too) so that drivers know I am there. I clip it onto my waistband (red in back, white in front) and put it on slow flash. Batteries last about 6 months or so. My neighbors tell me that they can see me for several hundred feet with these, long before the reflective vest shines back their headlights. Highly recommended!

The mounting system is a little wonky for me, I have a recumbent trike, and getting a good location was a challenge. If the light is bumped, it will move...I don't want to tighten it so tight that it breaks; it is plastic after all. But it is super bright and has multiple settings of flash. I like it.

I purchased the front and rear mount light kit. I found them easy to install and the mounting kits versatile. I mounted the front flashing light on my steering column and I was able to mount the rear light on my carrying rack. Thick split rubber tubing is provide for this type of mounting situation. I just had to trim it a bit to make it work, no big deal. I had read a review were someone said that the tail light fell out of the mount. Once they are clipped in properly and "snap in", they are not falling out. They also swivel up and down and the light lens pops off with the aid of a coin for easy AAA battery changing. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I installed the two included AAA batteries and pressed the small rubber cap covered on/off switch, nothing happend. Double checked the battery polarity and it was correct. Tested again and still nothing. Put it all back into the box and requested a refund. I didn't belive these lights are tested before shipment, from the factory. Mfg defect!

I really like this model, but I've not used the light much at all, and the bike has mostly been stored inside, yet it already stopped working, and new batteries didn't help. Very disappointing!

I like these CAT EYE Omni 3 LED Safety Bike Light because they use AAA batteries instead of being rechargeable. the mounting brackets are made of a stiff plastic that works kind of like a zip tie. it comes with all sorts of pieces for adapting it to different size bike frames. it fits 1.5 inches just fine as well as smaller sizes.I expect the plastic mounts to break or come of after extended use. these really need metal clamps.
