Over a different brand of drops, these helped my DD tremendously!
My review is actually for the Gerber Soothe Colic Drops (minus the Vitamin D). I purchased those drops at a different retailer; however, I wanted to leave feedback for the drops here at Amazon. My DD since at about 1 month of age had gas/bloating/constipation issues. She is primarily formula-fed with organic, sensitive formula and has been since about two weeks of age. She does receive some breastmilk, but her primary diet is formula. The formula I use does not contain probiotics; but does contain prebiotics. When I told my pediatrician about our issues, she provided me with a sample size of the Gerber Soothe Probiotic Drops. (no Vitamin D.) The sample only lasted about five days. I saw improvement, but nothing amazing. I wanted to continue with the probiotics, but because I felt there was no significant improvement; I switched and bought Culturelle Baby drops. We used those until they ran out. Meh is my response about Culturelle Baby drops. After I ran out of the Culturelle Baby drops, I noticed that my DD was back to being gassy/fussy/constipated and just miserable. Instead of buying more of the Culturelle Baby drops, I bought the Gerber Soothe Probiotic Drops, hoping there would be more of an improvement. After a few days, I noticed that my DD's constipation seemed to be getting slightly better and she had fewer episodes of burping when feeding. After about a week to 10 days, there was marked improvement in her fussiness, gassiness, and bowel habits. I am still on the original bottle (says it is about 50 doses) and probably about a month into using the Gerber Soothe drops and for the past 10 -14 days, my baby has been super happy, chill, not really fussy during the "witching hour," she has more of a bowel routine now, zero bloat, burping is far less in quantity. She still has a lot of hiccuping throughout the day. These drops have been a huge help to making my DD feel better every day and allow her to be a happy baby without added (some is normal) GI discomfort. Now, I have read complaints about the dispensing process and about the paper inside the bottle. Here are my observations/tips:1. Keep the bottle stored upright. If it tips over, stand it back upright as soon as you notice it has tipped over. One morning, I noticed that I could not get any drops out and was bummed. I just tapped the side of the bottle, hoping to release any bubbles that might be preventing the liquid from falling back into the bottle and after 10 minutes or so, the liquid that was trapped in the dispensing area had fallen back into the bottle and I was able to dispense the drops with no further issues. I now make sure I keep the bottle upright at all times.2. I do not shake the bottle, instead, I swirl it - to avoid the liquid getting stuck in the dispenser.3. The strip of paper inside the bottle is supposed to be there, per the manufacturer.4. Read and follow the dispensing instructions. Tilt the bottle at about 45 degrees and the drops form and then drop, one at a time. I have never had any issue with the liquid dispensing too quickly.I hope my comments help you to make a decision. I have found with my DD (my first baby), there is a lot of trial and error, when it comes to feeding and gut health.Oy! I do know that these drops have made a significant improvement for my DD and that they in fact, work better than the other competitor that I mentioned above.

Solved our tummy problems!
My almost 4 month old has always had a really rumbly tummy and I noticed his BMs were pretty watery and a yellow-ish green color. My first baby was breastfed as well but hers were always mustard yellow and thicker. He was gaining weight well and seemed pretty content in general but his diapers just didn’t seem right to me. So I started down a rabbit hole researching causes for it like any crazy mom and I thought he either had an allergy to something I was eating or I had a foremilk hindmilk imbalance. As I was reading reviews for sunflower lecithin pills I saw a review that mentioned that she thought she needed those pills but it turned out her baby just needed a probiotic. Her situation sounded similar to mine so I decided to try these out figuring they couldn’t hurt. Within the first day or so, I noticed the color of my baby’s BMs was more of a mustard yellow and it wasn’t watery anymore! His tummy is also pretty much silent now. As a bonus it has vitamin D which pediatricians recommend for breastfed babies so it’s a win win. I would compare the bottle and dispenser to an essential oil bottle. Like other reviewers have said it’s not the easiest product to get out but if you follow the directions of tipping it until you see a drop form and then dropping it out it works fine. My baby is EBF so I just put the drops on my breast before feeding but you have to latch the baby pretty quick so it actually gets in their mouth.

Helped my EBF baby’s digestive health
I’ll start off by saying my baby is not colicky, gassy, or fussy.I actually started using this product because my baby’s pediatrician gave me a sample when I asked for some vitamin D drops. I liked the results, so I bought more!Anyway, for background - my EBF baby developed what we thought was a “dairy allergy”. She had stinky, mucousy, green, and frequent BMs. After cutting out dairy, eggs, and peanuts for a couple months and with no improvement, her doctor told me to add dairy back into my diet and “see what happens”. Well, I just so happened to start using these drops at that same time. Believe it or not, my daughters BMs actually became less frequent (closer to 1 BM/day, rather than the 3/day we were getting before). The color improved and the mucous has died down a bit. Her digestive issues I believe are due to my oversupply causing a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance. These drops have improved her overall gut health and I’m very happy with the results!I believe it is a little expensive, but worth it to help your baby’s tummy. Give it a try!

Good product, but doesn’t work for all babes.
I think this is a great product for most babies, but doesn’t work for all. My second had colic up until 6M. This paired with another (Bio something, yellow bottle) medication was so much help for him. This year I had my third who also has colic. I would say it helps, some, but not like it did for my other child. I think regardless, it’s worth a try for that 50/50 chance when babies are so unhappy. With both, the first couple days seem a bit uncomfortable for them - probably because it’s something so new to their bellies, but that goes away within days and they’re used to it. By then, you will know if it’s working for your baby or not.Easy to use, drop 5 drops right in their mouth. They all seem to like the taste and will want a pacifier right after. Gives it a bit of flavor. It definitely helps their bowel movements stay regular as well. Overall, a good product and even if it doesn’t work, it’s worth the shot for such a relief that it does give to the babes it works for!

Works great just hard to use
These worked for my babys tummy troubles and made her not constipated anymore but they only thing I didn't like about this product is that I had to drop 5 drops into a medicine cup which was very hard to measure since they come out fast and more than one at a time then I used a medicine syringe to suck them up. It's a hassle to have to do that since other brands have a dropper attached to the lid in the bottle but so far these are the only drops that have been working really well for my baby.
