You can get lost in these words
Follow author on Instagram and decided to buy all three of these books. Beautiful, reflective poetry, thought provoking. Often made me have to sit and reflect about what I just read. I am not good at reviewing writing like this. If you want to see how he writes before purchasing his books, I suggest going to his Instagram page, where he posts his poetry. It will draw you in.

This is just as wonderful as his first book, if not more so
I'm a little tempted to copy and paste my review of Jarod's first poetry collection - Field Guide to the Haunted Forest. This book continues the journey along the same path. But since he first set off along that path into the workings of the human mind, the wonders of nature, and the mysteries of the universe, Jarod has honed his skills as an explorer and as a cartographer. He wanders in the hidden spaces of everyday life, missed by most of us in these busy and troubled times, and he is skilled in describing those wonders and at revealing hidden treasures even in the darkest places within ourselves.Buy the book. As I said in my review of Field Guide - Jarod deserves your support, and you deserve his.

Beautiful, concise and human.
Jarod K Anderson first came to my attention when I was struggling with some challenges in my own life. His vision and perspective, combined with his love for nature served to remind me that there is beauty even in chaos and loss.I have now bought multiple copies of each of his books, to give to loved ones who may also enjoy them.

It Felt Like It Was My Own Thoughts
I'm a big fan of poetry, and I think it's extremely easy to write bad poetry too. It can get sappy and corny very fast and I always question wether or not a poetry book is going to be what I hope it will be.This book exceeded all expectations and hopes. Jarod K Anderson writes so simply and beautiful, they combine passages about nature and mental health in a way that makes it feel like it came straight out of my brain. I'm not kidding when I say this book feels like a genuine part of my own thoughts. Normally I like to hold a highlighter with me when I read poetry so I can highlight the passages that stick out to me, but with this book I had to put it down because I would be highlighting almost every page. There are very few poems in this book that didn't resonate with me, and that's genuinely a first for me and poetry reading. Overall, this is a fantastic poetry book and one I will continue to look over again and again
