This book is absolutely beautiful and a joy to read. Sharon Santoni demonstrates that elegance and good taste can walk hand in hand with a down-to-earth touch. The photographs are stunning and the writing will inspire you! I have given this book as a gift to friends and they are always thrilled. I expect this lovely book will lift my spirits in the dark days of winter too.

Inspiration

This is a gorgeous, sumptuous large-format book of beauty and inspiration. I've followed Sharon Santoni's blog for years and this volume distills and exemplifies the essence of the charming moments and memories of her idyllic life in the French countryside. Filled with lush, evocative images and ideas for casual but distinctive gatherings, the pages take you into a celebration of the seasons, each as glorious as the other, with Sharon's distinctive flair for decor and floral styling. Magnifique! Highly recommended.

Great photos, informative, recipes. Very nicely done. It could become a coffee table item.

This is a wonderful book with beautiful photography. I had the pleasure of going on one of Sharon's tours and I must say that this book truly reflects Sharon's entertaining style, classic yet relaxed. I can't wait to have friends over using some of the effortless hints she shares.

This is a beautiful book, lovingly photographed and narrated in a warm, friendly tone. I felt as though I had visited a long-known friend who described her life and lifestyle in her adopted country. There is no "you should do this or tsk! tsk! tsk!" Well done!

The book itself is beautiful but when the books are shipped, they are not packaged in any sort of wrap to protect the covers...therefore, the beautiful coffee table books have been marred on about half of the ones I’ve ordered. Not exactly the look I was going for.Maybe take a little time and add some tissue paper or bubble wrap-it would make all the difference.

Wife says she loves it

Oh this is not another designers book, this is a book for people who already have many designers books and has the passion for photographs as well, has also a passion for good writing, and to peek into a professional’s private life. It is not about room decor or furniture, it is about entertaining in nature. Beautiful.

Black and white pictures and big print ... terrible. Not much better than a magazine. Thank goodness I bought second-hand, so did not waste quite so much money on it - but still overpriced. Very disappointed.

Great product

Not only is the whole book fabulous it's a pleasure to look at (great coffee table book) to share. The seasonal recipes and insights of life in France make one long to experience each one for themselves. Having been to southern France Provençe, Dijon, Lyon and the Mediterranean a trip I'll always cherish. This book takes me back again to revisit and taste to my heart's content.Absolutely love it.

What a lovely book. Introduced by Sharon Santoni who throughout the book gives glimpses into her life in this beautiful looking house in Normandy. Apart from the marvellous photographs, ( taken by Franck Schmitt), there are recipes dotted throughout which are actually easy to make! Rather unusual in these glamorous books I can tell you and I'm going to try some. Highly recommend this book.
