I need all the help I can get
The media could not be loaded. I'm a rookie drone pilot. I make mistakes. So far none of these mistakes have caused any damage to my new drone, but I know it is just a matter of time. My drone was begging for a little more protection from my inexperience, so I bought both the propeller guards and the landing gear for my F11 GIM. I need all the help I can get. Both products are well made and fit my drone perfectly. They are relatively light weight, but sturdy. It's easy and quick to attach and detach the prop guards and landing gear. That's important because the drone won't fold down to fit in the travel case without removing them. I was impressed with the quality, especially at this price. I consider these add-ons a little extra insurance as I learn to fly.I've flown my F11 GIM 3 times since I added the landing gear and propeller guards. The landing gear raise the drone a bit more than an inch, giving the gimbal and propellers a little more protection when landing. The drone flew fine with the add-ons. The prop guards make the drone easier to spot when far away. I'm happy with how well it handled as well. The only downside is how much they affect flight time. Without the extra gear I can fly for about 20 minutes on a fully charged battery. With the gear attached the drone was returning to home in only 10 to 11 minutes for each flight. I did not test the flight time with only one add-on attached.I did crash my drone into a tree on one of my 3 test flights. The prop guards saved the day. The F11 bounced off, fell about 8 feet to the ground, then popped right back up to a hover. No damage. See the embarrassing video. So, would I buy these again. Certainly! I will likely use the landing gear all the time. I'll use the prop guards whenever I'm flying low in tight spaces, especially if people are around. For longer flight time I'll leave the prop guards off when flying high and in open spaces.I know that these safeguards won't save the drone from every stupid mistake that I may make, but they very well may extend the life of my propellers and perhaps the drone as well.Update: I found out that the issue with my limited flight time was due to a faulty USB charger switching off before the batteries were fully charged. I'm now getting about the same flight time with the gear and guards installed as I do flying the drone without them.I did have an incident with a fly-away drone the last time I used the propeller guards. It was a breezy day already, but then sustained high winds kicked up -- faster than the drone could fly even in sport mode. I could see it tilted full speed into the wind, yet slowly drifting farther away and over the woods. The drone slipped out of sight and then lost connection. The "find my drone" feature did bring me to the location where the drone lost connection, but it was still flying and being blown in the wind at that point. I couldn't find it. Anyway, I mention this because I feel that the extra wind resistance from the prop guards may have been just enough to keep the drone from making it back. It was a neck-n-neck battle with the drone's fight against the wind. It kept making, then losing progress when the wind gusts spiked. Without the prop guards on I just might have made it back.FYI: I did get my drone back. I had my FAA registration number on it. It had actually been blown an additional 1/2 mile down-wind from the last known GPS location and landed hard in someone's front yard. The drone survived the adventure. The kind soul that found it in their yard looked up the registration number, got my contact info and then sent me a message about finding my drone. So, if you haven't marked your drone, you might want to do so. In my case it was the difference between losing my drone and getting it back.

MUST HAVE!
This is a Must Have item for all beginner drone pilots like me. I've had a few older and smaller drones but nothing like my F11GIM2. I love this drone! But, alas, my piloting skills are not that good. I destroyed all 4 sets of props and the left rear engine strut in the first 3 weeks of flying. (I should buy Ruko stock...) Anyway, I finally saw these prop guards on Amazon. I immediately bought a set. I refused to fly the drone until these guards came it. And with normal Amazon speed, I had them. After putting the prop guards on and flying it again, I promptly crashed it into my bar-b-que, (cut that corner too tight). No damage, awesome. Flew it for the length of both batteries and crashed it 2 more times. As you can tell, I suck at flying. Now after over 2 more hours of flying I crashed the drone 4 more times. The last one hit really hard into a tree. Thought for sure it was toast. The front left prop guard was laying on the ground right next to the drone, which was upside down with one engine still running. It hit so hard the prop guard popped off but no damage to the drone. I was so lucky. I attribute my luck to the design and strength of the prop guard, for even though it popped off the drone, it too was undamaged. I am sold! With the amount of crashes I do I should have gone through another full set of props and at least one more engine strut if it wasn't for these cool prop guards. But these guards absorb the hit and save the drone every time.I can't say enough about these wonderful guards. An absolute MUST HAVE.

Fits Great
Bought these because I'm a first time owner of a drone. Fits perfect, no struggle to get on. Increases the size of your drone considerably. Doesn't come with a case. The box the drone comes in separately won't fit the guards. I'll probably buy a bigger case with foam so I can fit everything. Adds a little weight. Haven't flown enough yet to determine if it affects battery life.Edit: it affects battery life and shortens it.

So glad I bought these
I bought my Ruko with the intent of flying near a wooded area for land/site surveying work. I also purchased a spare set of drone blades but thanks to these guards I have not needed the spare blades. Had it not been for the guards I would have likely been through at least one set of blades. I've had at least 3 scrapes with the brush - 2 of them for sure would have resulted in at least a broken blade. It's a pain for the extra step in setting up the Ruko prior to flying but so worth it. Also, I really appreciate the tool-free installation of the guards. A well-though-out design!

Perfect for F11GIM2. No go for Mini U11
Fits perfect and looks wild on the Ruko F11GIM2.If anyone also wondered as I did about the Propeller guard fitting Ruko miniU11…I also own a Ruko Mini U11. I tried and it won’t fit. Propeller insert is the same width (shown in picture). Maybe with a heat gun and proper care it can be re-molded to make it work.I hope a propeller guard and landing piece is made for U11.

Good idea
You can see the guards in the camera at times and if something happens near a tree it will guaranteed to get stuck in a tree because of the guards. Better off without them.

Great Deal to Save Your Rotorblades
I use these when I am flying low to the ground or in places where there are many obstacles. They work great and I can say they have saved me numerous times. In fact, I am buying a second set because I lost the clip off of one of them. They do cut your flight time down quite a bit (from 24 min to around 18 min) so when I plan on flying high I don't use them. Worth every penny for a new or fairly new drone pilot.
