This is a nice simple brush, with a good sized handle. The bristles are on the softer side, so it's pretty gentle on the scalp. The weight and feel of the wood handle is much better than that of plastic or rubber. Note that the bristles are folded and stuck into each hole, so the end tails hang out slightly. This causes hair/lint to get stuck there, and it has to be cleaned every once in a while. It's common with these type brushes, where each bristle is not individually glued into a perfect sized hole.This is a good replacement for my old neon green brush of a similar style, which had a shorter handle, harder bristles.

Feels great in the hand. It's got this amazing finish work to it. And the packaging is phenomenal. The hairbrush comes with this little pouch, so you can tuck it in and store it.

Beautiful wood handle, nice spacing of the bristles but the plastic bristles are flimsy and sharp. Like I was dragging wires across my scalp. I wondered if it was just one of the plastic beads had come off the bristle, nope. I thought it was just me but my wife and children said the same thing. Can you re-dip the bristles in plastic to coat them more? -Sadly disappointed.

Very nice brush, seems to be well made with wood. Longer in length than I realized.

I don't have nearly enough hair to brush and I never blow dry but I'm still thrilled that I bought it. Maybe it's just old school but the wooden handle feels great in my hand. It screams of a hand crafted quality and pride that plastic brushes don't have. The bristles are just fine on my scalp (and face/chin), without being too scratchy or painful. Although I've already mentioned pride this brush even comes with a little drawstring bag.

Product looks nice. Problem is the tips of the bristles aren’t uniform and hurt my scalp. Wife used it and had no problems since she has a lot of hair and it didn’t touch her scalp. She may have given this a better review. I can’t since it’s unusable for me.

It's a nice looking wooden brush. Appears well made. Unfortunately, the bristles are stiff and just sharp enough at the ends to make brushing unpleasant. I've compared it to all of our other brushes, and this one definitely "scratches" your scalp. The manufacturer needs to use more carefully rounded bristles, perhaps made of a softer plastic. In combination with the beautiful wooden handle, this would make it a great hairbrush.

I have been using this brush daily for the last week. It has exceeded expectations in every means of use (styling, blow drying, etc...) and I'm very satisfied with the quality. It does come with a pretty little bag that I gave to my spouse for her own use. Would definitely recommend for any men interested in a diverse brush.
