Hi. Replacing a light switch on my older Airstream. The old one worked ok, but was dirty-yellowed-white. And the Airstream is my man-cave so, I wanted black :). The covers snap on some little pins, gently pry the old cover off. Its common to break the pins with old ones... old plastic. Be aware that the electrical blades on the back of the switches are 3/16”, not the typical 1/4”. The mounting holes seem to be sized for a #6 screw, my old screws were #8 so I drilled out the mounting holes to keep the screws from binding. The brand printed on the plastic was the same as the original Airstream part, instilling confidence thst its decent quality. I’m happy with my upgrade!Links to the 3/16" connectors needed. These worked great on my camper, and blend very well into the design. I used the three switches to turn on and off my radio, satellite radio, and USB charging ports/voltage monitor to save the house batteries when I'm off the grid and not using them.

I didn't take into account that I needed the middle switch to have a third attachment for the wires to connect to. The switch I was replacing goes to a light that can be turned on from our 5th wheel bedroom or from the living room. Without that third spot to attach the wire, it would only be able to turn on from the bedroom (where the switch was being installed)That being said, I'm a momma of 2 with a hubby who works often 7 days a week. I'm by no means a handy-man. But I was able to take the old one off of our 2013 redwood, disassemble this one and use parts from both to create a functional one that would keep that switch working from either location AND fix the switch next to it that had broken inside.These cone completely apart very easy with nothing more than a flat head screw driver and all the pieces pop right back together. So if I can do it, anyone can.It matched exactly in color and appearance/size, to the original one that came in our rv.Thanks for a universal, easy to install switch that even a stay at home mom can figure out how to fix

These switches are ok. They need a hole to fit flush, but the trim ring hides it. Be careful with soldering the switch terminal. I melted one and had to find another switch to snap into the hole. The initial attachment to the terminal worked fine, but when the switch purpose changed, and I needed to attach it to a different wire. Getting it un-soldered and removing the original wire involved too much heat. The terminal is very close to the plastic rear side and the heat warped it, making the switch's contact with that terminal quit working. I would buy another one and plan the wiring better next time.

I used this for a more convenient way to switch the three banks of overhead lamps on and off. The brown panel exactly matches the existing switches in my 2014 Minnie Winnie, so the addition looks professional.

Are use these to wire 12 V accessories in my camper and they work very well for that but do yourself a favor and don’t try and solder the connections on them you will melt your switch like I did just use the push on connectors and all is good

I have a 20 year old 5th Wheel that the light switches are needing replaced. These switches dimensions worked perfectly for replacements. The switch itself has a nice light feel when using. The spades on the back of the switch are quite small and I had to replace the female spades on the wire side to accommodate. I also had to use heat shrink on the female spades to insulate from the two touching because they are so close and there was no separator like the old set. Overall a very nice attractive switch set. I have since ordered a couple singles and will probably convert all my switched to these for aesthetic purposes.
