Villa Mirabella Paperback – June 1, 2010

I was so very disappointed to see that this Amazon Sale advertised this as FEBRUARY 2018 which led me to believe this was a new novel from Peter Pezzelli. Book arrived with Publish date 2010.I had bought one for myself as well as a friend with a note saying it was a new book.It's not.The content of the novel is Excellent. All of Pezzelli's books are great.Amazon should be more clear with the description and Publish Date.

I enjoyed VILLA MIRABELLA, but not quite as much as his previous books about Italian-Americans living in Providence, RI. For me, there was not much of the usual close family dynamic in this novel that is Peter Pezzelli's strength as a writer. Don't get me wrong, it's an entertaining read. I just don't think this is as good as his others. Still, even a less than perfect Pezzelli book is better than many of the others out there.All you really need beside VILLA MIRABELLA is a comfortable chair and a glass of red wine. 4.5 Stars.

Like all of Mr. Pezzelli's novels, Villa Mirabella revolves around the important things in life---family, integrity, hard work, and ethical behavior. The characters are realistically drawn and react to their situations as real people. Throughout the novel, you'll find yourself rooting for all of them as they conquer every obstacle.

This is a simple story but heart-warming and charming. I liked the characters' integrity and desire to be and do good. I would prefer more description in a book. The characters are not as real when we know so little about their physical characteristics. Still I liked this book a lot and would encourage others to read it.

Peter Pezzelli is a fantastic author. All of his books are a wonderful pleasure to read. Italian family, love,tears, joy and laughter all wrapped up in really great books. Oh how I wish he would write more.Villa Mirabella - a strong Italian family with a business, a son who wanted to spread his wings but learned the hard way there is no place like home.Everyone should read all of his books, Italian Lessons, Home to Italy, Francescas Kitchen, Every Sunday and Villa Mirabella, once you read one you will need to read them all.Peter Pezzelli I am your number one fan. You just can't go wrong with any book by Peter Pezzelli. I buy his books as gifts and my recipients are always delighted. His latest book, "Villa Mirabella," does not disappoint. From realistic, solid characters to learning even more about the New England area, this book is a delight from cover to cover.

Good read

I love all of Peter's books. I wish he would write new ones more frequently. I took this book on a trip to Florida for my son's wedding. It was a quick read and light weight for my carry-on bag. You'll enjoy this one!

If you haven't read any of Peter Pezzelli's wonderful novels, don't wait another day. They are great books and this one is quite dramatic in many ways. A story of family and forgiveness.
