Great quick bond for translucent materials.
I am using this to repair cracks in RC aircraft canopies. Almost nothing else will bond to the canopy plastic. So far I am happy with the results for that purpose. When hit with UV it is only seconds until it is bonded.Be careful. You can use this in the shade outdoors but it with be bonded in less that two or three seconds. Lots of UV from the sun. This is epoxy but with a UV vice two part activator. It is very clear and needs to be since it will not bond without UV light no matter how long you wait. So you can only bond translucent materials. Anything that is solidly colored to block the UV will only cure on the edges.

Bondic Pro Kit performs as advertised.
My Venetian blind has a, 1/4 inch, round, wooden rod, about 3 feet in length. At the top end of this rod is a hole, made to slip over a small, teacup hook. The teacup hook is bonded into a small plastic rod, that protrudes out from the metal channel above, which contains all the inner workings of the Venetian blind. The little plastic rod only sticks out about half an inch from the the innards above the blinds below. Twisting the wooden rod, rotates the little plastic rod, which opens and closes the louvers of the blinds. Well, that little plastic rod snapped in half, as I was opening the blinds leaving just a little nub protruding out from the metal channel above. With almost no room to work I easily connected the two broken sections back together, in seconds, using the Bondic Pro Kit. I then, slipped the wooden rod hole over the little teacup hook, and gave the blinds an opening and closing a torque test. The Bondic Pro Kit, affected a strong and easy repair. The stuff is amazing!

Not working for my situation.
I followed the directions and it looked like it might work however there is something intrinsically wrong with the process. The glue, or plastic welding, sets when it is exposed to the light. When you are welding two pieces together they are pressed together and not exposed to the light. I slowly built up the surrounding area and it looked as if it might hold but very quickly broke again due to the fact that the main area that was pressed together could not be exposed to the light. I would never have ordered except for seeing a video that seemed to be showing that it worked for my situation. It does not work in these situations and I will be returning because I don't see a use for it in my life. To be perfectly clear you can see where the plastic is built up on the surface so it does solidify however there is no way the light can work when two pieces are pressed together.

crap
shall I elaborate, .....Ok, UTTER and complete crap. After a failed attempt at bonding the 2 substrates I needed this for, I tested this on the easiest thing for it to bond ...100% translucent plastic.....the very plastic clamshell packaging it came in. I cut out two pieces from the same flat plastic part of clamshell. Two drops of their mystery bonding agent spread evenly between the 2 flat cutout plastic sheets, (squeezed together so that enough agent is evenly distributed like the thin film of water you see b/w 2 glass slides in biology class). I applied their light source: 3sec no bond, 30 sec maybe a tacky bond, add light generously 3 min, uneven tackiness but completely absolutely worthless bond pulled apart at the interface. "Its not glue!."...right ....we get it ... its Suckers Gold......cause there's a no return policy. The perfect widget from a seller standpoint

Good (but check the LEDs when you receive them to make sure they all light up and are not DOA)
It works for stuff that's not too smooth and that you can light up with the UV LED. I ordered two units and the first unit I tried had a dead LED, which was confusing to me as I had not used the product before, so I was wondering if the UV light was invisible or if it was Dead On Arrival. After messing around for a while & getting frustrated I opened the second unit and Viola, the LED gave a strong blue light and it hardened the resin. I contacted the seller and they quickly replaced the defective unit. So I learned a lesson, check the LEDs when you get them to make sure they work Ok. Sometimes bad luck is good luck. If I hadn't found that bad LED when I received the shipment it probably would have set in storage for months and then it would have been too late to get a replacement when I finally got around to using it.

Bondic Pro Repair Kit-Repairs Almost Everything
I purchased these when Bondic was on that crowd funded program. You can purchase these almost anywhere. It’s a pen that you guide bluish liquid over cracks, holes, tears in cement, metals, fabrics, glass, wood, polymers. Flip it over & press the the UV lighted tip. The UV light cures/hardens that bluish liquid to an invisible transparent seal. I’ve repaired luggage’s, broken & torn items, my brace(!), & other fear. It’s cheap, lightweight, looks like a futuristic pen that literally repairs everything. RECOMMEND: Buy a few. Also there’s a Bondic cartridge refill sold on Amazon because the UV lamp will last awhile.

Every tool box needs this!
Handy tool I've had for a couple years and never used. One day I happen to be rummaging through my drawer and came across it; it so happened that at the time my drone had developed some stress cracks. This was just the thing the Dr. ordered to accurately apply the glue/epoxy to those areas and then cure it. I'm impressed by how simple and effective it was, so much so I just bought two more; one for work and one for my father so I no longer have to look at the tape he has wrapped around glasses.
