Blue Ginkgo Wooden Kids Calendar – Perpetual Montessori Learning Calendar to Learn Seasons, Months, and Days of the Week (15.5 x 12.5 Inches)

I purchased this calendar for my montessori preschool and I absolutely love it. I'm mostly impressed with the quality and how it has held up this school year. This is the exact design I was looking for to help my students learn about the calendar. Because it's magnetic, it's very easy to manipulate and change the month as necessary. All the fonts and numbers are very readable and understandable. It is the exact size I needed, if you have a bigger class size it might be a little bit small but it has been perfect for me! I comes with a bag to store all of the extra pieces in which is great for me. The only thing I would change, is some of the holiday tiles. I don't know what some of them are and I would add a few new ones.

I first saw this at my kids' school. This is a great calendar for kids learning about days of the week, months, and seasons. The quality is excellent and my kids enjoy changing the "today" circle each day. It's also really helped them learn which days are school days and which are weekend/holiday days. The calendar comes with a cloth bag to hold the extra pieces not in use that particular month. It includes all of the months, the seasons (spring is a green clover, summer is a yellow starburst shape, fall is an orange maple leaf, and winter is a light blue circle with a snowflake on it), and some holiday/other miscellaneous pieces (a Happy New Year circle, a red heart, an egg, a 4th of July circle, a pumpkin, a turkey, a Santa, a Christmas tree, etc). All of the pieces are well made and have smooth edges, no splintering at all. The paint seems to be nice as well; my summer piece did have a small scratch across the word, but not enough to bother me. Each of the months have two magnets embedded and all of the other pieces have one. I was happy to see that the magnets sit flush with the back of each piece. The back is flat as well and it hangs by a small rope attached at the top. Overall, I'm really glad I bought this calendar and think we'll get a lot of use out of it over the years.

High quality wood pieces and fun to arrange. However some of the magnets on the numbers had fallen off - luckily found them and glued them back on. And the string to hang could be a bit more elegant for this price point. But the special tokens for holidays are a nice touch. It comes with a bag to store the extra numbers/tokens.

The wooden calendar is cute, but the quality needs improvement. My product arrived with three magnets detached from the wooden circles. The vendor did not reply when I wrote directly to them. Eventually, I bought some epoxy glue and repaired the pieces. I hope more magnets do not fall off and get lost while I am using this with my children.To repeat what another reviewer wrote: be sure to put the month on the right hand side, and the season on the left, so the magnets line up.

I was worried about getting it because it's expensive but the quality is great and I wanted to teach my daughter the days of the week and numbers. You have to reorganize the magnets every month, which creates the opportunity to practice numbers and days of the week. Each day the student can move the magnet and think about the number and day. I like it! Happy I got it. Sits on the wall, looks pretty.

Love that the calendar came pre assembled. I bought a few different Montessori style calendar and habit trackers at once and this one really stands out in quality compared to the others. BTW the month name goes on the right, don't be the dummy leaving a bad review because you put it on the wrong side!

My child loves this calendar and uses it everyday. There were a few pieces missing and customer service sent a replacement right away with only having to pay for shipping. They were so pleasant to work with. She’s happy the calendar is complete again and I’m happy she’s happy. Totally recommend this product, such a great learning tool.
