This was really comfy when I placed it on top of a cot... not sure how well it would be on its own though.. its not very wide.

I thought it would inflate a little more, but it was easy enough to use

I realize this is no longer available. I pitched two last year. They have been used three times and one already has a hole near the valve stem. Avoid all of these types, they are junk.

It’s very comfortable to sleep on your back and side. When you sleep on your side, you can’t feel rocks or ground like with some other sleeping pads. Plus, the foam inside is very soft. I used it for my trip to Alaska and I really liked the overall quality of the pad.

I did a HUGE research before buying my first sleeping pad. All the websites say that the self inflating pad with foam inside is one of the best choices for your camping trip. I bought it and it worked perfectly well for me. It’s almost like sleeping in your own bed.

I have a friend who’s a park ranger. He always advised me to buy a bright color camping gear, because such a bright pad is easier to spot during night time. Such a small detail can add some extra points to your safety.
