Dex4 Cram4
Lets get over it, no one likes being diabetic, no one likes having chronic hypoglycemia (thats me)But at least there are tasty quick fixer products out there like Dex4. I have tried all the flavors under the sun of Dex4. Dex4 is the only stuff I will use. The tablets are convenient and tasty, they are not overly sugary. Think eating a really, really, oversized sweeter sweet tart and you pretty much know what Dex4 is going to taste like. It is not too chalky like some stuff I have tried, I literally wont touch Targets brand of stuff because of how chalky it can be and the flavoring can be hit or miss. Dex4 has none of these issues, the only issue I have with Dex4 is that the tablets can be broken easily in shipping irrespective of the seller / carrier, heck even just toting them in the car in the bottle can be no good, so I bought some tubes designed for keeping these tablets in, i have three 10 tablet tubes . I keep two by my bedside since night time is when i go hypoglycemic the most or when i need a quick sugar rush to keep myself going for a cram session. Yes Dex4 is useful for keeping yourself up for a late night of studies without using harmful energy pills or drinks, this is simple glucose which burns into energy rapidly and then rapidly burns off, I wouldn't call this any 5 hour energy but it's useful for when I am polishing off a cram session and need a half hour more to finish it off.We all know Dex4 performs wonderfully for low blood sugar. But who knew Dex4 would do s great for giving an extra boost in cram.Hmm, Cram4? Cram4 More Minutes.Heres a new sloganDex4 Cram4 More minutes in for your studies.

The Absolute Best Fix for Low Glucose
As a person with diabetes (PWD) I know first-hand how awful low blood glucose can be. I'm lucky, however, since I am paired with a great technology called a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM), which tracks my blood glucose in near real-time and alerts me if I have too high of blood glucose or too low. Often times, PWD develop a condition called "hypo unaware"; this is when your body and mind do not recognize when you are having low blood glucose and sometimes it'll go untreated and you might slip into a coma, have a seizure, etc. A person with diabetes needs to have something fast-acting such as glucose tabs or gel in order to get their blood glucose levels back up to an acceptable range. This is where products like Dex4 Glucose tabs come in.First off, since being diagnoses with Type 1 in 2005, I've been well aware of the Dex4 brand. My endocrinologists office usually carries this brand and will give out samples of this if you're running low on supplies. Since obtaining the new CGM technology I'm getting tighter control, which sometimes leads to low glucose episodes (these episodes can happen without a CGM so it's very important to check your blood sugar multiple times a day). Each glucose tablet is 4g of sugar that will help raise blood glucose levels (by how much is up to your body and how it processes the tablets). Sometimes if I am around 70 blood glucose I will take approximately 16g of these tablets (4 tablets) and track my blood glucose to make sure it's not going too high. Some people can do around 8g (2 tablets) and be fine. I find the 4g increments to be helpful if you just need 1 or 2 tablets to get your blood glucose to an acceptable range. The taste of these glucose tablets, in my opinion, taste a little better than store bought brands and especially the glucose gel flavors; I just can't get into the gel ones for some reason so my low blood glucose solutions are the Dex4 glucose tablets and possibly a small box of juice (15g sugars). Both of these products help me maintain acceptable blood glucose levels so that I can be alive to see tomorrow.Overall, this is a great product at an impressive value; I use Amazon's Subscribe & Save program with these since I will always be using them until they cure Type 1 Diabetes (a bunch of PWD are gonna roll their eyes at this one, including me, because we've been promised a cure for so long). Anyway, these Dex4 tabs help me and other PWD immensely and I would recommend this brand highly.

Price has skyrocketed
They work and taste just fine. I went to reorder another bag today and was shocked to see the price has almost tripled since I last bought these less than a year ago. Do you think the manufacturer is taking advantage of diabetics and gouging us? I do.

Raises your blood sugar in minutes. 5 stars
As a type II diabetic, I am bad about not eating 3 meals a day with snacks in between as my Doctor suggests. For 40 years I would only eat 1 meal a day. She wants my blood sugar to go down and prescribed me a pill to take morning and night with meals to lower my blood sugar. 4 times in the last 3 weeks around 5:30, my blood sugar dropped before 65 while out and about at the store. I would feel faint, unsteady and disoriented and would have to seek out something sweet in a hurry to keep from seeking medical help. I ordered these tablets from Amazon. I chewed the first 1 yesterday and within 5 minutes I had a burst of energy and felt good. Wasn't sure how many to take at one time so started with 1. I read last night online that when blood sugar gets that low a person should take 4. Anyway, long story short. Bag contains 100 tablets, so until I get my diet and blood sugar spot on, I will keep these handy. I don't want to slip into a life threatening diabetic coma. 4 close calls just recently.

Dex4 Glucose Tablets
I usually buy the Reli-On Glucose Tablets that WalMart sells, but it is hard for me to get to the store to purchase them, and they do not sell them online. Amazon has marketplace sellers who advertise them, but the cost is ridiculous. So in desperation I ordered the Dex-4 glucose tablets. They are okay, but the Reli-On tastes like a Sweet Tart. These are very mild and not as enjoyable. They are not very sweet, at least to me. The Reli-On tablets are very good but some flavors slightly burn my throat after chewing four of them. These did not burn which is good, but were not as enjoyable, either! This, of course, is only my experience. Others may like them better. Everyone is different in their tastes. I do wish that Amazon would sell the Reli-On tablets themselves at a good price. I did do better by purchasing the package of 100 versus the bottles of 50 in the Dex-4.
