This oval platter is handmade using a buff stoneware clay. It is slab rolled using a rolling pin, then molded. The handles are hand-pulled and attached and dahlias carved free-hand before the platter is fired, glazed in white, and fired again. This platter, as with all Joyful Clay pottery, is microwavable and dishwasher safe, and perfectly 100% safe for food consumption. It measures 11 inches long, by 5 1/2 inches wide, and 1 1/2 inches tall (at handles).
