I recently tried the Nespresso Capsules Vertuo Fortado Gran Lungo Americano, and they have quickly become my favorite. The dark roast espresso delivers a rich, robust flavor that is both smooth and satisfying. This is really good and rich!

Nespresso Verto Fortado is our favorite coffee cup. We try other flavors and sizes from time to time but this is the one we drink every day. I find the full mug sizes to be a little too large (I don't drink fast so they tend to get cold before I can finish) and the single/double espresso pods to be a little too small, so Gran Lungo is perfect. The Fortado is a bold, dark cup with rich cream, but without any hint of acidity or nasty aftertastes. You can certainly drink it black, but because it's fairly dark and strong, it can stand up to adding some milk or froth or sugar, while many of the lighter flavors get too diluted by the milk and lose their flavor. If I had to pick only one capsule to use forever with the Nespresso machine, this would be it.

This stuff is SO GOOD. Like sooooo good! I’ve had a Keurig k-cafe for years but could never quite get the results I wanted and still ended up at Starbucks often and now I don’t even use it anymore. I really wanted an espresso machine but not a big bulky for real one, and heard good things about the Nespresso so I went for it and could not be happier! This option came in the sample pack and I was instantly in love, it’s pretty much just like Starbucks, maybe even a little better, and it’s always consistent. Rich and creamy and bold flavor. Highly recommend?

I love the Fortas because it’s very smooth not bitter.
